One bedroom KING suites? Help!

I've been on WDW.COM for like an hour searching for a 1 bedroom suite with king bed for our semi-moon! Every suite I find that's a one bedroom has TWO beds. Do they have any one bedroom suites with a king bed? I saw that Animal Kingdom Lodge has a two bedroom suite and one of the rooms has a king bed but it's THOUSANDS more for the second bedroom which we wouldn't even use! One time we went and stayed at CSR and when we got there they had no king rooms left from a conference so we had to stay in a double. Maybe I'm a big baby but I hated not having a king bed.

Help!

P.S. Anyone know when you can start booking Jan 2010?

Hmm, they have 1-bedroom villa rooms at Saratoga Springs Resort. Those all have a king bed.

It has a little more than a suite in it though--it has a living area and a little kitchen. It's got a really nice hot tub in it too. I have stayed there 3 times and loved it.

Hope that helps!

The Boardwalk has 1-bedroom villas as well. We stayed there for our wedding night and loved it.

I think that all of the DVC 1bedroom villas come with a Kingsize bed and whirlpool tub. I know that we have stayed in them at BWV, WLV, OKW, AKL, SSR.

BTW, if you rent points from a DVC member they can book rooms at 1 month out. HTH.

We stayed at BWV for the second half of our HM, we used DVC points, and we had a 1-br w/ King bed....it was l-o-v-e-l-y!

That's what we're getting for 5 nights - can't wait!!

For our honeymoon, we stayed at Port Orleans FQ. It was quiet and wonderful! Our room was on the top floor overlooking the river. We booked our honeymoon through Liberty Travel, and requested a king size room and got it for a great price. I don't know when you are going, but we went in the middle of march (High Peak Season).
On a side note we ended up buying into the DVC to avoid this problem hehehe...:wizard:

Booking for Disney resorts is 500 days beforehand reservations open. If you rent points from someone with DVC then it is 11 months if that is their home resort and 7 months if it is not.

You can also check out the suites at: suite disney dot com.

Thanks for all your help ladies! I hadn't thought about a DVC resort.

Skylar, thanks for the site I never heard of it before and will def. be checking it out!

It wasn't a suite, but we had a king room at GF for our wedding/honeymoon trip. I had been hoping for an upgrade to concierge but the king room was really nice too!
