Yikes, I haven't had a chance to catch up for a few days and look at all that has happened in the mean time! Happy, happy birthday to Lisa! We remembered her special day but I didn't get to the post office until Monday so her package will be a little late.

So sorry to hear of all the physical issues folks are having; we'll be praying for you.
I don't want to go into too much detail, but David has been offered a job in VA, and we are seriously considering making the move. It would be a huge change for us, but I have such a sense of peace that if it is supposed to happen, everything will work out with selling the house, finding a new place, getting a decent school, etc. I have an appointment with a psychologist for Ezra for April to see about either an ADHD or auditory processing discrepancy diagnosis, but we may end up cancelling that depending on a few other things going on. For one thing, the Special Ed teacher came into the classroom and observed him several times and reported that she feels he is definitely immature, but not being so rambunctious that it would cause her to think he has ADHD. For another thing, his teacher said she has seen a huge improvement in him this past month since we did the first round of testing and thinks he is finally starting to settle down and cooperate with her more. I don't want to put him through unnecessary testing, but if there is genuinely an underlying problem, we should diagnose and address it. We are continuing to pray for direction on what God would have us do. I have been researching ADHD in the mean time in case that is what we are really dealing with and we are going to try some diet tweaks as well as having him get some more regularly scheduled pool time at the rec center a couple times a week to burn off energy in the mornings before school at noon. I am not going to consider medicating him at this time - I feel that behavior modification should be our first course of action before turning to medications, especially with a history of heart problems in the family.
