One and DONE

I'm one that doesn't need to ride Soarin' every time. As a PP said, with the FP+ tiers, I always choose TT.

for our last family trip in 2011 we all were one and done on space mountain (party of 10, 16, 46, 47, 70), kids like but not huge fans of coasters and we all felt battered by the unexpected motions back and forth, fun and OK once but had no need to do again

...the American Idol Experience. I did not find this to be a fun event at all! Also, I could do without the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse and the Mad Tea Cup Party (Motion Sickness!). Stitch isn't too bad although I do agree Alien Encounter was much better! :thumbsup2

Stitch! We did it our first trip, and were like "What the heck WAS that?" So flash forward four trips to last year. We decide to try it again just in case we were in a weird mood or something the first time we tried it. Nope, it was still pretty jacked up!

I didn't realize I had so many "one and done's" till reading thru this thread. LOL. Ok- mine would be:

Mission Space-Green- rode it once. never again. thought I was going to barf in the first 30 sec.

RNR- rode it once with one of my daughters only because she wanted to ride. Might consider riding it again, but probably not

Stitch- that was just stupid and a complete waste of time

Dinosaur- too jerky and not enjoyable

Small World
Fantasmic
Whatever the family raft ride is called at TL

Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach water park. I expected the wedgie, but did not anticipate the enema and the massive bruises on my backside.

Country Bears

:duck:

Seriously, I walked out like "what...what did I just sit through?..."

I think I need to YouTube Stitch. I was on it when it was Alien Encounter, but I don't believe I have been to Stitch. I guess I am not missing much. ;)

My one and done would be Country Bears and Carousel of Progress.

Dinosaur- it was just loud and jerky and bright...not fun for us at all!

Well, shoot... I have fastpasses for Mission Space already and now I am worried that we are going to hate it! haha.

I guess I am in the minority, but my kids and I really dislike the Bugs Life show at AK. It scares the crap out of my kids and I have decided that I am done with that attraction...

Astro Orbitor on a slow day is fun for the bird's eye view of MK. But, I agree on Swiss Family treehouse...never again!

Am I alone on this one? We did not care for Maelstrom at all. Not sure why because we liked every other boat ride that week. :confused3

Woww this is a great question!

I'd probably say Stitch. I have bad memories of Alien from my childhood. My dad brought me on and at 13 I thought i was so big and mighty. I was scared beyond belief! We tried Stitch and I didn't really see the point..

As far as MS, I can only comment on the Orange side, as it made me SO nauseated from the G force (there's a reason they put barf bags on the ride!) I've not been on the Green side, but I understand it doesn't spin, it's just a bumpy ride. Other than that, I really did enjoy it. The ride itself was fun, but the spinning made my stomach do an Olympic gymnast routine.

Astro Orbiters.

I absolutely HATE flying and get extremely motion sickness. My mother in law got some great pictures though of me, green in the face and miserable looking and my future husband (he had just proposed!) laughing in the seat beside me. Never, ever, again. Which is why I'm still afraid to do Soarin' or Star Tours even though people have assured me I'll be fine.

I forgot about this one. My husband loves it (nostalgia I guess?) and it would be one and done if it were up to me. It really gives me the creeps. I've gotten through not doing it for the last few trips but I have a bad feeling I'll be sitting through it in a month!

Soarin just didn't do it for me. I guess I gave in to the hype and it fell short. It is def. my one and done.

Ha! My husband and I are with you on this. I left Stitch wondering what I had just witnessed!
