Hi Dis experts-

We're heading down early March for our first trip as DVC members (we've been members since '03), and taking our DIL's with us. We'll be in a 2-bedroom.

Can we have one set of room keys with charging ability put against credit card account 'A', and another set (to the same room) against credit card 'B'?

It'd be nice to have the DIL's keys charge to their credit card and ours charge to our card.

Thanx in advance,

Chris

It may have changed this year, everyone room keys now have the individuals name on them---not just the name of the person reserving the room. So be sure to ask when you check-in.

If it has not changed, then, no...one charge card on file per room...but eack key card has a specific number. You could go down to the desk the night before your check-out day and get a list of all the charges. Then see who charged what by key number, add your in-laws charges up and they could pay their portion by CC. Note that this needs to be done prior to your charges being closed out on the morning of your check-out.

I work front desk at another WDW resort. As Chuck said, room keys now have individual names on them, but you can still only have one CC on the room account. If you give everyone charging privileges, just add up everything your DIL put on her key # and then she can go to the front desk and tell them to take that much payment to HER credit card. They will then replace your CC for your own charges. Please be aware that you MUST go to the front desk the evening BEFORE your c/o date or the system will automatically take payment to the card on the reservation that night. :flower1:

Thanks Chuck and Gail. That was exactly what I was looking for. Now if I could only buy stock in the wine shop in the France pavillion before DMIL gets there ... :D
