Thought it was a great episode! I keep forgetting that Mr. Glass is the mirror! Ha! With a last name of "Glass" how can I forget!! He will do anything for Regina.

I do think that August is Pinocchio! He told Gold he was dying....and previously it looked like his leg seized up in the bed....turning back into a wooden puppet maybe??

I never thought I would say this but he is my favorite too. Not the best to look at, but he is a great character! My least favorite is David because he seems like a dip stick. Maybe that will change one day.

Yes, he was already older than 7. My theory is that Bae was the person on the other end of the phone when August said they needed to move their plan up. It would also explain why he knew so much about Bae in order to trick Rumple.

Ah, but see, this is why I wonder if the Pinnochio line of thought isn't a false trail, as well. How many very obvious hints in the previews have we seen that that MUST be who he is?

Didn't the writers at one point, right after August was introduced, say that we wouldn't find out his real identity until next season? I thought I remembered something along those lines....

I was trying to think of who August called. It had to be someone in present day, but I knew it couldn't be Gold or Regina. I'm liking the theory that August is Pinocchio, the cabinet holding baby Emma was somehow built from Pinocchio. That would explain both August and Emma being from Fairytale Land but growing up outside of Storybrooke. From the beginning of last night's show, it looks like August/Pinocchio is starting to turn back into wood (the stiffening of his legs, etc), and his remark to Gold that he's going to die soon anyway. There are just so many twists to this show!

And poor Sidney! Regina is making him take the blame for Catherine's disappearance and framing of Mary Margaret.

I may be remembering wrong, but i'm pretty sure it's been established that Bae is somewhere in "our world". In last night's episode, when Gold and August were talking in the woods, Gold said he knew August wasn't his son because he wouldn't want or use magic saying something to the effect of "that's why he chose a world with no magic...that's why he chose THIS world."

I like the PP's theory that Bae is the one August was on the phone with.

In the preview for next week, the very obviously cut from August to Pinocchio, which makes it seem to much like a false trail to me. However, maybe they want it to look too obvious so we pull away from that. Who knows with these writers, lol. LOST drove me crazy and now this show does too.

Bae was older than 7. He was just about old enough to fight in the Ogre wars which is why Rumple turned into the Dark One - to save Bae from fighting. I can't remember exactly but I'm thinking he was 13 or 14. 13+28 = 41 and August doesn't look that old.

Although Pinocchio and the cabinet is a GREAT thought, it seems too obvious. My guess is that August is either someone else or a dual character like Rumble/Beast, Red/Wolf.

These writers reimnd me of what they did with Lost.

Writing fan's theories into the show. I think they knew we thought he might be Bae so gave us last night but he'll end up being someone else, probably Pinnochio.

What happened to Bae.

Why Rumple hates the Fairies/Nuns.

What ONE promise/deal Rumple ever broke.

Why Rumple never wants to love again.

Why Rumple created the curse....to reunite with his son.
