Great article/interview. Thanks for posting. :thumbsup2

A few comments
Interesting how they are going to change perspective and show us thought the eyes of Rumple now.
Did you notice how they said that we would meet Belle but didn't mention Gaston, Belle's father, and/or the Beast?
Glad to hear that they will be telling more about Red's story.
Does anyone have the list of titles for the upcoming episodes? Which one is the Rumple mash up?

Season 1, Episode 9 "True North"

I think TV Guide might have the episode numbers messed up. I will see if I can figure it out.

ETA: Found some different info on IMDb and added to the list in post #963

Oh, wow! That Rumpel clip was heart-wrenching. I hadn't expected him to turn out to be a sympathetic character.

I hear that Rumple has a surprising connection to a character we’re going to meet for the first time.
AH and EK: Yes.
AH: Keep watching. We don’t want to ruin any surprises.
EK: It’s probably not that hard to figure out — for people who put a lot of thought into it and if they read the titles. But we have a really great mash-up with him coming up.
AH: But what we can say is that the first batch of episode after we return in January, there are a whole lot of characters we explore — Rumple and Mr. Gold being the first.

This is the part from the interview that is bugging me. AH says it's a "surprise", but EK seems to be alluding to the fact that something is going on with Rumple that we *should* be able to figure out if we put a lot of thought into it and if we read the titles (whatever that means... episode titles?). I DO put a lot of thought into this show and I still can't figure out what the heck he means by that, lol.

Who is the guy in the clip with Rumpel? The one who wants him to swear fealty?

don't forget, the OUAT marathon is today on ABC...starts at 4pm eastern (3pm my time). :)

I'm excited because we have a free weekend of HD stations. I don't have an HD TV but the stations do come in a little more clearly.

Thanks for the reminder! My husband added several things to be recorded, and OUAT went to the bottom of the list. I've missed the last several shows. Now I can get caught up! :thumbsup2

Looking forward to the new episodes, it has been a long break:woohoo:

It does feel that way, even though I've waited longer for some shows to come back from holiday breaks (like 2 months of a wait). Can't wait until next Sunday for the new eppy.

I believe there's only 1 episode (ep 5) that they're not showing during this marathon.

I saw that marathon on the guide today. I thought if I recorded it it would give me a chance to catch up but there is one episode missing in the middle.
I don't know if it's just our local station interrupting for the news but that's not where the missing one is.
It starts with the pilot episode at 4:00, 2nd at 5:00 then local news at 6 and national news at 6:30. After that it goes back to OUAT with episodes 3 &4 then it skips number 5 and goes straight to episode 6.
Is everyone elses like that?

I just watched all 7 episodes on Wednesday on abc.com (yes I watched all 7 in one day!). I don't know why I didn't watch it sooner!

I think we posted about the same time....I mentioned in the post above yours that they're skipping over ep 5, not sure why, though.

Oops! Yep, I missed that. I was interrupted with a phone call before I finished posting LOL.
That is odd though. I wonder why they skipped one randomly.

I know...I need to revisit that episode to remember what it's about but I guess they realized their time restraint and needed to pick one episode to skip and maybe this one has the least plot points?? LOL Not sure.

Episode 13: What Happened to Frederick

I think this episode has to do with King Midas' daughter. When the servant pulls off the King's glove before he turns the sword to gold, he says something like 'Careful, remember what happened to Frederick'.

It's interesting to re-watch the show knowing that Regina remembers everything, gives it an interesting spin. :rolleyes1
