Once Upon A Time

This show has me hooked! Sundays are now my couch potato night....Once Upon a Time, Desperate Housewives & Pan Am. I always tend to fall asleep in the middle of Pan Am though...darn! I just can't stay up at night like I used to.

Exactly!! Cinderella's fella was Prince Charming. Snow White's was simply "the Prince". So far, that's the biggest "oops" for me ~ haha! (And yes, I know it's a re-telling, mish-mash of fairy tales so they can do whatever they want.)

Assuming it's the Disney version of Snow White (which it should be since they have Jiminy Cricket) I think she tells her animal friends that "the Prince was Charming." I am the biggest Disney geek.:headache:

Ahhh, got it. "Snow White" has never been one of my favorites ~ thanks for explaining! I liked, too, how they explained giving the prince his "Charming" nickname...then I forgave them. ;)

I've been reading along the thread but finally felt the need to post. I love the show, being a huge Lost fan I was really excited about watching it and I'm really happy with it! I love not knowing everything, that's what was great about Lost, each episode left you talking and wanting more!

For my fellow Losties I just read some news, Emilie de Ravin (Claire) has been tapped to play Belle. Gaston is also set to appear, no word on Beast yet!

YAY, Beauty and the Beast are my faves!!

I highly doubt that Mr Gold wrote the Fairytale Book that Henry has. There's no way he'd give it to Mary Margaret for any reason if he did. He wouldn't want to go back to Fairytale where he's in jail. He'd want to stay in Storybook where he owns everything.

Cool! So Belle, Gaston and Beast will appear in Once Upon A Time?!!:goodvibes

And it's that very thing that has me the most confused.

Mr. Gold doesn't benefit at all from having the curse broken so why the heck did he bring Henry to Regina knowing that Emma was the key to ending it all?? :confused3

Yeah, but Rumpel/Gold makes all kinds of deals with everybody. And wasn't he the one who gave Evil Queen the curse? I'm sure he's figured some way out of jail if the curse is broken.

maybe he knows this isn't how the "story" is supposed to go

I'm so glad this show is on! After 6 years of Lost, something was missing on TV. Yes, there are good shows (like Modern Family), but there weren't any shows that made you think and use your imagination like Lost did. Until Once Upon A Time. Just look at how long this thread is already after only 3 episodes!

My boys will be home from college for Thanksgiving; I'm going to persuade them to watch OUAT "on demand" from the beginning, and hopefully they'll get into it, just like we all watched Lost as a family and discussed our theories.

I'm kinda confused by the previews of the upcoming Cinderella/baby deal. I get she signs over her first born to Rumple/Gold, but then she is shown having the baby in Storybrook..like 28 years later? I know they are stuck in time, not aging etc., but then the baby would be stuck in time, not coming, right? Kinda pregnant forever? Or else Cinderella was just about to pop when the curse took place, and now that Emma ia there, and time is moving again she is going to deliver? So in Storybrook she would have been pregnant the whole time she was there? I need Henry!

Maybe it's his plan to go back to fantasy land and use things he's done in Storybrooke as his leverage to get out of jail there. But, if the Storybook/Storybrooke conflict is ever resolved then we have no series right? :lmao:

So many questions lol, It only the third show lol

I love this show! So many questions. LOST was one of my favorite shows, this may fill the void.

I agree with others that think Dr. Whale could be the Big Bad Wolf, especially after the way he was looking at Ruby.

Remember, when Emma said she would stay for a week- the clock started moving again....

yeah, that's why I said maybe Cinderella was ready to pop when the spell took place 28 years ago...so that would mean she's been walking around storybrook eternally pregnant I guess....

Since NOBODY was changing I guess they didn't notice..... with the exception of Henry I guess..... so many questions....:confused3

Poor woman, I loved being pregnant but not for 28 years. ;)
