I actually had the CC on during the scene, to hear what he did call her, the CC said somethink like "my love" (can't remember exactly) but it wasn't a name...........and during the whole fairytale scenes she was called by Charming "my fiancee".

I do agree that I bet the girl in the carriage is an ugly stepsister or someother wrongdoer in a fairytale.

Ok so Dr. Whale might be the whale from Pinnochio...I had a feeling it was from that story, cause I couldn't remember any other fairytale with a whale.

I have also wondered about Mary Margaret's haircut -- and her pointy ears. She looks more like a fairy than Snow White.

The woman in the carriage is definitely Charming's "wife" in modern day - it was the same girl that played both.

Onto Regina, I was thinking she had no idea about who she is and who the other characters are.... but after last night, wow, it's getting harder to hold onto that theory. She just said too many things that made it seem like she knows exactly what's going on.

I cannot wait for next week! This show just keeps getting better and better!

I was thinking Snow's hair is short, plain style clothing was more along the lines of the whole *Fairest of Them All* stuff with the Evil Queen. Trying to keep Snow less *Beautiful* than her maybe? The Disney names for the Stepsisters are Druzilla and Anastasia....but that doesn't mean they are the correct names. Giselle was also used as the name of the princess in movie Enchanted, that's the only one I remember. Might have to do a search on it, lol.

I don't think it's a coincidence that he was the one who found Henry for the Mayor. Snow White told him her baby's name was Emma, and I'm sure the reason he got Henry for the EQ's adopted son was because he's Emma's child. Now, why? Don't know because I don't think the Mayor knows it, but I'm sure it plays into the storyline.

Also, did anybody else think it was funny that Sleepy was the night watchman at the hospital?

I lol'd and said the same thing to DH. All they needed was weird mechanical noises and lightning flashes.

I'd be willing to bet that even if she isn't his wife, she is now legally. I'm sure Regina wouldn't put that to chance.

I loved Sleepy as the watchman. And I definitely think Dr. Whale is from Pinocchio.

And I still think Mr Gold is the only one who remembers everything.

1. This is one of my theories. The other is that it would make sense that in the world with no happy endings if he did end up married to the nagging girl in the carriage (whoever she is), since it was arranged (not based on true love) and would stand in the way of Snow/MMB and James/David's love. Perhaps that's how he would have ended up in this world if it hadn't so happened that he was dying as the curse took hold. It will be interesting to see if either of these is correct.

2. Yes, I caught that too and chuckled at the "Sleepy" night watchman. I wonder why "Doc" is not a doctor at the hospital. He was tending to Snow when she gave birth, so where is he now in the real world? And where does this Dr. Whale fellow fit in to Fantasy-land?

I thought this third episode was a little heavier on the cheese than the second episode, but it was sweet to watch Snow and James start to fall for each other. The Cinderella story next week should be good, and I can't wait to find out what Snow did to Regina to "ruin her life." I'm sure we won't get any answers in the next episode, just more questions...

I am SO in love with this show! I was a huge LOST fan, but it took me a while to get into it. With this one, I was in from the start...i'm thinking because of the fairy tale basis.

The main mystery I want solved (unless I missed it?) is why Henry knows everything.

I can't wait to see what happens when/if people start remembering who they really are.

I'm loving this show! At first I was hesitant, but now I am hooked.
Wasn't Cinderella's husband Prince Charming too? Do you think the two prince Charmings will end up being brothers?

I think he did and gave it to snow white to get the ball going. Did Snow White do something to get her dad kill and that is why the queen is so mad or did she have a child that something happened to and blames Snow White for it?

Either way, the queen is trying to fill a void.

Holy moly I just read the synopsis of the Grimm Tales of Snow White. I was trying to see what the deal was with the EQ and Snow White beyond the tale. Let's just say...don't go there if you don't want your fairy tales ruined.

Fun show!! The part of the Mayor and the Evil Queen is a cheery part for any actress and they chose so well. I also think Ginnifer Goodwin is perfect as Snow White! The people who cast this show are perfectionists for sure. Rumplestiltskin/Gold...amazingly evil just like you'd think. I want more than an hour every week. So nice to be able to watch a good show without sex-language-nudity-drugs. YAY!!!
