The sleeping curse originally came from Maleficent, according to Regina. Early episode, first season.

I don't think the book in a box would be that impressive but Tinkerbelle would be impressive and get a reaction. Whatever it was was enough to make Neal suddenly believe in Emma's ability to break a curse and magice etc. So whatever it was it had to be something pretty amazing.

My thoughts as well. She's very weak because no one in this world believes in Magic- not sure how she ended up with Pinocchio- unless the Blue Fairy gave her the task of looking over them in "our world". Not sure why she wouldn't have taken human form though.

Right, but Maleficent was defeated by Emma. I was thinking that Cora somehow found a way to tap into the dreams of both FTL and Storybrook.

I don't think that what was in the box need be amazing at all. Bae/Peter was from a world of magic and if someone came along with a fantastic tale about Emma and her destiny, it wouldn't take much to convince them that the story was real. All it would take is a simple item of magic, known to the person he was talking about. So....pixie dust, a pic of rumple, the page of Bae/Peter from the book. If you recal, August looked to do more then fix the book when he had it. And the Giant did say about the victors changing history to suit themselves....what about changing to book to make people seem nicer then they are? We already know that the characters that we know aren't 100% of who "they" are.

If she stowed away in August's pocket when he went through the wardrobe, she wouldn't have taken human form because she was never cursed. I do like this theory though. And can't wait to see what happens with Ruby in this week's ep.

She would have no reason to be near August when he was taking Emma through the tree

Neverland according to how hook got there is through a magical hole in a magic land.

What ever was in the box had to be huge. Or maybe not. If Neal is Bae it wouldn't take much to convince him since he already knows magic is real and that in that world an evil curse is very possible. However if he is not from a land with magic the box would have to contain something major because he never asked "how did you get that" he just seemed to say okay i know.

I am leaning towards Neal being someone from another place but not sure who yet!

But Tink isn't technically a person is she? I mean not human. Maybe it was that two humans couldn't fit through.
I'm not convinced it's Tink, but I think it's a good theory.

What if what was in the box was pages of the book that had been torn out with Neal on them? Did you see his face when Emma mentioned how the dream catcher works? Rumple once said "They say that dreams are memories. Memories of another life" (sorry if someone posted that already). What if Neal was having what he believed were nightmares but in actuality memories of him being Bae/Peter. Which brings me to my next theory which may be a little far fetched. What if Neal is both Bae and Peter? When Bae went through the Portal it brought him to Neverland, not our world. He was there for so long he forgot who he was (or wanted to) and became Peter. It can also explain for the age difference with Rumple being 300-400 years old. In his apartment there was an album sticking out with the 4th track "Beauty and the Beast", his father is the beast.

Then why wouldn't other fairies go. They were sending an infant through. Why wouldn't they send fairies with her to protect her if they could.

Now, BrownEyedGrl's post has me thinking. If Bea was Peter too, like she theorized, then Tink could have come with him when he left Neverland and they just got separated over the years. Couldn't Peter travel between Neverland and the normal world? Does anyone remember the movie Hook? What if Peter left Neverland and just forgot his old life.

Good point. I'll have to give some thought to that one. I do like the idea of Bae being Peter Pan because of the huge amount of time that has taken place since he went through the portal.
