Mystery solved! British version of Being Human.
^^^The restaurant also had the classic red and white checkerboard tablecloths and candles burning inside chianti bottles, just like the classic Lady and the Tramp scene.![]()
What a boring episode. I hate that they went into Emma's teenage past. Gimme a break. What did we think about last night?
Here are my cons:
-went back to being "too Frozen". The exact same ice bridge from the movie? And where did she get that purple sparkly cape? I wish they'd give her some Storybrooke attire. The "build a snowman" quote was a bit much for me too.
-Snow Queen is playing her same faceless, open-mouthed, confused head tilt role from Lost. I was (sorta) willing to give her a chance, but come on!
Here are my pros:
-Love that they're having Snow struggle with after-baby realities.
-Snow and Charming/Emma and Hook are still adorable.
-Regina is the perfect level of good and snarky right now!
-Super intrigued by the story after the ending last night!

Funny, I thought this was BY FAR the best episode of the season so far.
I find Emma's past so interesting, and I love finding out how she got to be who she is. I had guessed that the Snow Queen was one of Emma's foster mothers (although I thought it was going to be her first one), so I'm super interested to see how that plays out.
Regina/Emma, to me, is the second most important relationship on the show (after Regina/Henry). I love seeing their relationship develop. They are tied together forever - by Henry and by magic. Regina is so lonely, and I'm excited about her having a friend, no matter how reluctantly. I love seeing her change.
Absolutely loved the episode last night!
I kind of agree with you. Not THE best but I didn't find it as boring as others did. I think that if every back story took place in the Enchanted Forrest, we would get very bored with that. And I am not sure how much more back story they can give Elsa. They need to show what happened when Anna returned but that might be in with showing us how/why the Snow Queen took Elsa's memory. So, I am guessing we will get the rest of the story. You are right about Regina/Emma. It is an important relationship to this story. Seeing how Emma's past can affect it and how Regina's, very different past, can affect it will be interesting. I do think they have a lot going on right now--Regina's story, the Knave's story, Rumple's story AND Elsa's story; and actually Regina has the story of how she is going to save Marion AND rewrite the book so 2 for her! So, I can sure see why we don't see everyone in every episode. If we did, each story would be so cut up they would all be hard to follow.
lizabu said:This story is getting weird. It's getting harder and harder to buy into the storyline. The whole message saying the saviour was going to be the ice queens sister doesn't make sense to me.
We ended the epispode saying "what the heck??" It didn't make sense.
What happened to the real sister? Why does she look like Emma?
I did like the Belle back story. And liked Rumple finally getting in the hunt for the Snow Queen.
I think the girl from Emma's past will return and have a larger role. It's the whole star birthmark, very random/interesting. I see a potential villain. All these years she's been mad about Emma breaking her promise that nothing would come between them. And eventually she sets out for her revenge

Not related to anything, but I did really like her and I don't remember the last time we saw her.
I have to admit, I fell asleep for about 20 minutes during last night's episode. I liked it fine, but I was beat from Halloween weekend. I think we have to expect a more convoluted story since it's early in the season. I'm OK with that so far.
Still think it's too Frozen though....Oaken was not at all subtle. And why does everyone else get to wear adaptations of their characters' clothes/hair but the Frozen girls get perfect matches? That's going to keep annoying me![]()
There was a tweet last night: Will somebody please get Elsa another dress? Haloween is over!!" Lol
I liked what Elsa had on in the backstory. Wish they would let her at least change that much in Storybrooke.
alicat8 said:Yeah, but it was still her exact coronation outfit! (Can you tell I have a 2 year old??) I sooo wish they'd get her a new outfit. Something a little sparkly or blue would do just fine!
