Regarding the ruby slippers, in the play, Wicked, they use silver shoes. I think there was a legal reason for not using red slippers.

Actually, in the books the slippers were silver. The ruby red was an addition made by MGM when they were making the Wizard of Oz into a film and wanted to show off their fancy new Technicolor.

The original slippers were silver in the book. Zelena's are silver. Louis B. Mayer didn't think they were colorful so he changed them to ruby since the movie was going to be one of the first in color.

And I had thought they looked more gold than silver - but now I see what you mean.

I'm curious about what Zelina wants with Snow's baby.
I find it weird that instead of wanting to get to know her sister she went to hating her. It's not like Regina even knew or anything.

Wondering if HER father is somehow David's birth father and that's why she wants the baby.

As far as blaming Regina for what Cora did, Cora is gone and can't be made to "pay," so Regina is the one getting the results of her anger.

That makes sense about Regina.

As for Zelina...am I mistaken or didn't she say that Rumple was her father?

Since Zelina wanted David's courage and the Queen's heart, I'm going to guess that the brain she will be after is Belle's. Then she will use Rumple to get it and he will resist.

I'm still not liking Zelena. Or maybe it's the actress. I can't just get into her or feel any bit of empathy of her childhood. I was wondering who was standing behind Emma during Neal's funeral and it was the Wizard of Oz. She turned him into a monkey in FTL...wonder how he made it back to a person.

The Wizard is Walsh, the man Emma dated and considered marrying. He would not have been at the funeral.
