They aren't. The enchanted forest storyline is what happened during the year they went back. The Emma storyline jumped a year ahead.

I missed the fact that when snow and charming were back in Storybrooke that is was present day. I think the jumping back and forth lost me for a minute.

Oohhhh, I did too! My daughter and I were loving the roof scene with Emma and boyfriend. (Can't remember his name). Total shocker, was not expecting that!

They showed the flying monkeys in the previews, so when Emma and Walsh(?) went up to the roof-top deck, I expected one of the flying monkeys to swoop down and try to get Emma. I totally did not expect her boyfriend to be one of them!

I think the rest of this season will be confusing until they get the 2 timelines to meet up. I imagine we'll have flashbacks to what happened in Fairy Tale Land for the past year with the green witch, then what's happening in Storybrooke in the present, and maybe even some flashbacks to whatever interaction Regina and the green witch had way in the past.

Oooh, I just had an idea: since they're back in Storybrooke again, maybe Regina and the green witch were battling and Regina cast another spell and sent them all back to Storybrooke to keep them safe? I think Regina is going to have a lot of "good" in her now.

can't wait to see if they find some way to bring Rumple back.

I liked it. Feels like the beginning of the season, which a hated, never happened. But if Emma refers to herself as a "savior" again, I may vomit.

I enjoyed last nights episode. My memory is not the best, but last season (maybe??) somehow it was mentioned that if Regina would have stayed "good" her lover would have been Robin hood. Last night, he was brought into the story...I hope they get together!!

You are right about that backstory. Tinkerbell found Regina's true love and Tink told her where he was - at a local tavern/inn. Regina looked in the window, saw him [Robin Hood], started to open the door, then stopped and left. Taking the time to help Regina caused Tinkerbell to be late coming 'home' and the Blue Fairy was waiting for her. For disobeying, Tinkerbell was stripped of her pixie dust. In essence, Regina failing to follow through with true love caused Tinkerbell's downfall.

Yep, and they're alluding that something might happen. When Robin Hood met up with them while they were walking thru the forest to get to the castle, Snow mentioned to Regina about how cute Robin Hood was. Might be some love interest for Regina? Maybe since Robin Hood is a thief, he might have enough "evil" in him for Regina?

I liked it. So much better than the first half of the season. I'm guessing they will be doing flashbacks, which will make it more interesting (LOST junkie, here).

Please, hurry up and find Rumple!

Was it just me, or did Neil have a lot more grey hairs? His 300+ years is starting to show.

I guess my only disappointment was that it took so long to get to the "Wicked" part. Maybe because they keep showing so many previews of it, I had anticipated the whole episode would be that. Instead, I guess they were just setting us up for it.

On another note, I was at a party the other night and among the guests were Josh Dallas (Prince Charming), Jennifer Morrison (Emma) and Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White), all looking fabulous. Biggest highpoint, though, was that I actually spoke to Colin O'Donoghue (Hook) for about 3-4 minutes - he was totally sweet and charming, gorgeous. His smile and those eyes were mesmerizing! He ended with "Wait until you see what happens next!"

I was watching Good Morning America, and Emma, Regina, Hook, and Charming were all on there talking about the new episodes. They said that Regina will have a love interest this half of the season...so I'm assuming something will be happening between Robin Hood & Regina.
