Once Upon a Time~ PART 2~

I got the impression that the book wasn't being disappeared by the smoke but more that the smoke was going AROUND the book so one day someone will walk by the storybrook area and just see this book laying on the ground.

Great thought, which leads me too.........who??? I wonder.........

I'm mad that Storybrooke no longer exists, that Emma and Henry lost their memories, and that essentially everything that's happened since the beginning of the show never happened. But I guess you do what you gotta do to move the show forward and keep it interesting.

I got really tired of being in Neverland but I DID like the actor who played Peter. I think he was perfect for the role and I loved the concept of Peter Pan being the real villain.

Also wondering what the meaning is of them showing the Once Upon A Time book on Henry's bed as the purple smoke comes in his room? Guess they should have taken it with them.

I didn't think there was any special reason why they focused on it, I think they just wanted to show it because it was such a big part of storybrook and they probably wanted to show Regina's house just to reflect on her life with Henry as she gave him up.

First off, I LOVED the ending of the fall half of the season. Never hated the Neverland ark but will agree that it was not the strongest thing the show has done. Also agree that Robbie Kay who played Peter Pan was excellent although Pan was horrible. I don't get how Rumple's father went from being a dumb drunk to a genius like Pan (my opinion- Pan was not that powerful, just very smart - his strength was always being one step ahead).

Also, between watching this Once and Once in Wonderland I have found both are easily predictable (and I never watched Lost) which is fine but I was nicely surprised by the ending of Sunday's episode! Can honestly say it shocked me in a good way and I am looking forward to the show getting back to its roots in the sense of convincing people of magic. Think it is very interesting now to convince Emma and Henry that magic exists.

Reading a lot of things around the internet here are my takes on some of the big questions.

I was very bothered that Hook, Neil and Tink were all set back with the curse but I read some explanations that worked. I think that Pan enacted a new curse on everyone currently in Storybrook so Hook, Neil and Tink were now cursed by the new curse. Emma could still escape because she was woven into the original curse and Henry could also escape because Regina had to let him go to change Pan's curse. I hope my explanation makes some sense.

I was always under the impression that Hook was from Fairytale land. They have navies there, I never thought they gave an impression that he was from England. I would say that him being from Fairytale land makes more sense now.

Also, I think it was Hook that shows up at Emma's door because he always could jump worlds easily, not because he loves her more (team Neil and Emma here).

I also was under the impression that everyone kept their memories except Emma and Henry. And all the events of the past 2 years happened, Emma just does not remember them so nobody will come back from the dead or anything like that.

Agree with all thoughts! Although I do like Hook, I'm still team Emma/Neal... Just for the family to get their happy ending.

I am in utter shock! Gold was my favorite character and he's gone. I know he's in the preview, which offers some hope, but the shot they show him in is from when he returns from Neverland and first embraces Belle. I will be very upset if they kill him off, it may be worth writing a snarky letter (I jest)!

I'm fairly certain that Gold isn't dead and will be back...but if not, I might seriously consider giving up on the show (ok, probably not...I'm the type of person who has to follow a beloved show all the way through to the end no matter what happens/how bad it gets). Rumple/Gold has been my favorite character since the beginning and it would make me very sad if he wasn't around anymore. :sad1:

That makes the two of us!!! Rumple is my fave character. I'd ditch the show if he leaves. Without him the show is dead to me. Lol.

That's what I was thinking. In the previews, didn't they show Snow saying "We're back."? That would lead me to think she remembered being gone.

I remember hearing Snow say "We're Back" in the preview as well - all the people standing by the red line in Storybrook were standing together dressed in their FTL costumes. I think that everyone else remembering their time in SB makes sense as part of the "price" that Rumple said Regina (and in turn everyone else) would have to pay for destroying the curse.

So a couple of thoughts...

Now that we know the Wicked Witch (WW) is in FTL we will probably have a bunch of fun back-story episodes...especially about how she gets to FTL. (Maybe when she melted in OZ, it actually transported her to FTL :rotfl2:)

I wonder if most of the second half of the season will focus on 2 components - trying to get Henry and Emma to believe and return... AND... why Snow and Charming are in grave danger. I don't think I could handle stretching out getting Henry and Emma to believe for that many episodes...

To echo many others..Rumple better not be dead :furious:

I like that Regina has changed, but I also really liked when she used a bit of her darkness to get Henry's heart back...I hope she is good, but I'd love to see her and the WW go at it :stir:

I think the WW is the Dark Fairy they talked about it the previous episode. Knowing Once I don't think they would talk about something like that without it being so important. Maybe the price of using the wand was that it brought the WW back or it made her angry.

Gosh, I love this show. I don't think they could kill Rumple off, he and Regina make that show. But the one thing I want to know is why do we have to wait until March 9??????

Because we won't have any weekends off from Once from March until May - bright side

I don't know if I like it though or not, apparently a few ABC shows are doing it. It was annoying when Once would take four weeks of in the spring but I feel like some may just throw the show out when other shows return in January and it doesn't.

I think they basically closed up the story in case the series was not picked up for another season, and they did a pretty good job of it. But the season was obviously renewed, and they filmed the final scene starting over again. Just my opinion,

I felt the same way watching it. I was like 'uh did OUAT get cancelled and I didn't know about it?'

I don't know why shows do either. Remember the days when shows would start in September and run through May? I'm sure there were breaks for the holidays, but there were never breaks like this show has.

I was wondering if other shows do this as well. We don't watch a lot of network tv, so I don't know if this is how they do it these days.

We thought the same thing. It was such a wrap up that we were thinking it looked like the end of the show instead of a seasonal break.

Once was picked up for the ENTIRE season 3 last spring, so I'm sorry but this is incorrect. The writers knew the whole time they would have episodes in the spring too.

I read some article comparing OUAT to Lost. In Lost there was a huge split in season 3 too. They went from on the island to all this sideways business off the island. I don't remember exactly the details but this article was saying this is pretty much these writers MO. This show isn't going anywhere.

New character is being introduced!! Fan sites are speculating that it is Lumiere! My Rumple will be back......I'm not concerned!!
