Once Upon a Time~ PART 2~

But Emma was born in the Enchanted Forest. I wasn't quite clear on how she could stay with Henry, given that little fact.

Emma wasn't in the Enchanted Forest when the original curse was cast, so maybe that's how she could stay with Henry?:confused3 Maybe that will also be an explanation for how Hook comes to find Emma in the real world and the episodes that we have to have until MARCH to see.

While I'm glad we don't have to see that icky Peter Pan any longer, I'm going to miss Rumple. When he was struggling in his stop to get that "stop magic" cuff off his wrist, I seriously thought he was going to cut off his arm. I never expected him to kill himself and Pan/his father.

So......the new curse (or reversing Pan's curse) is taking everyone back to the Enchanted Forest, and Storybrooke never existing in the first place. Like a PP said, does this mean that other characters can come back? Like the Sheriff? Maybe Rumple can come back, too, since he died in Storybrooke? Oh no......Pan died in Storybrooke; can he come back? NOOOOO!

I guess I am different, I like the Pan character. He is certainly not the same old Peter Pan, but the boy playing him is so perfect in that role that I hate to see him gone.

We just started watching it this season and LOVED last night and can't wait till it starts back in March.

DD is getting season 1 for Christmas, so maybe that will tide us over until then.

I would be so confused if I just started watching this year... you seriously need to watch both season 1 and 2 to catch up with back stories. Lots of fun stuff in those past episodes. (I'm hoping I get season 2 for Christmas. If not, will have to buy it for myself :santa:)

I think she was able to stay because Regina let her - I remember her saying something about Emma staying to take care of Henry.

From the previews it looked like Rumple will be back.

My memory is shot, so I don't remember the episode exactly, but DH said, "Wasn't he a sailor in the English navy or something like that? With his brother? So he's from the real world, not fairy tale?" (Of course, Emma and Henry are "from the real world," and they don't remember :confused3 Maybe there was something with Hook starting here, then going there and back...)
Yes, him and his brother sailed to Neverland for the British to look for ths plant that they were told would heal people, but it really kills them..dreamshade.
I was wondering about that as well, perhaps that is why the curse did not affect him.
He also did say last night that if Regina could not un-do the curse from PP that he would need to know right away as he neede more time "to prepare"...prepare what i do not know?? Maybe he could sail the ship out somehow?? :confused3

We want to see both season 1 and 2 but haven't really had any trouble following at all. I may go ahead and order season 2 for her too.

We watched the show that came on before the first of this season and it kinda caught us up.

I doubt the Sheriff will come back. The actor is busy filming 50 Shades of Grey.

Why do you think he was British? They never said that. Only that they were working for a king. They went to Neverland for that king and then went back home and became pirates - home was fairytale land. That's where he met Milah while a pirate.

Also wondering what the meaning is of them showing the Once Upon A Time book on Henry's bed as the purple smoke comes in his room? Guess they should have taken it with them.

Not sure, guess I have POTC on my mind too. You know, as they each have a hottie pirate in them :lmao:

Great episode last night!! :goodvibes

I don't believe rumple is gone for good. Saw him on previews in the upcoming episodes (March 9 is when it returns with no interuptions).

What I am wondering per Regina's explanation of no one remembering Storybrooke because essentially, it would have never existed, if we will see other characters that were killed off - the Sherriff, etc.

But, if this statement that no one would remember, how come Hook showed up at Emma's last night and how did he get back to this world??

Can't wait to find out.

I think that's the set up for next season. I suspect they're all back and is connected to why Snow and David are in trouble.

Because she was the savior.

I was thinking the same thing. There had to be a reason that they focused on it.

So the new villain is Elphaba? Come on, anybody that's seen Wicked knows she's not really evil :rotfl2:

I wondered if Gold/Rumple would end up back in Enchanted Forest, but without the powers of the Dark One. I always thought that prophecy about "the boy will be your undoing" meant more the Dark One's undoing instead of Rumple.

Wow! That was a heck of a show last night. I didn't like Pan's character, but I enjoyed it, and thought he did a great job.

I don't think Regina undid everything that happened. I think she returned everyone to Neverland and they would all lose their memory of the past 28 years or so. Tears were trickling down when she sacrificed so much for Henry, and when she gave Emma her gift. Gold's sacrifice also had the tears flowing. I'm a sucker for honor.

This season, I've stayed away from all the conjecture before the shows, though I've read this thread and listened to the podcasts afterwards, and have to say that I enjoyed the show more when I didn't know what to expect. It's fun to speculate, but I got more of the 'wow' factor by being surprised, so I'll do that again when they come back next spring.

I've really enjoyed this series - all three seasons so far.

I got the impression that the book wasn't being disappeared by the smoke but more that the smoke was going AROUND the book so one day someone will walk by the storybrook area and just see this book laying on the ground.

ohhh I like that idea...I did notice they didn't show whose name appeared on the Dark One's knife to replace Rumple's.

The name on the knife is the person who destroyed the Dark One...if Rumple killed his father, and himself, there would be no name on the knife.
