I don't know why I didn't remember them being so expensive from last year, because we were all set to go last year and did Sea World instead. It just seems like since they raised the price they're so much more expensive! Who knows, maybe we will go, it's up to Brandon! I'll live without going to Universal for another year!

I think the prices increased so much because WWoHP opened....just my guess but it seems to fit

I HATE that drive! My BF's sisters both live in Raleigh so we find ourselves driving down there every once in a while to visit. Virginia is the worst because 95 turns into one long, dark, wooded road. I feel like half the drive is just Virginia. AND I got a speeding ticket in VA one year so it's doubly annoying!

HAHAHA the middle of nowhere is right! And I live smack dab in the middle of it! It's strange though, because I'm so used to it, I don't think I could ever function living in a big city or even a remotely big city.

I love your list! Ohh my goodness, those Grand Marnier slushies are the bee's knees. And the popcorn....well....I don't think I need to say how I feel about the popcorn. My numerous plastic buckets I have brought home from Disney can speak for me!

I liked where we were in NC, but I don't think I could live there, it's just farmland where I was! We went into Statesville a few times, I liked that a lot better than Union Grove!

Aren't the Grand Marnier slushies the best? I can't wait to get another one! And the popcorn...I've never brought the bucket home! I'll have to this year!

I loved the chedder cheese soup at Le Cellier. And I also love cream cheese pretzels (although I think I may be more into the Jalepeno cheese stuffed one at AK more), and Dole whip! The swirl you got does look good though. I will have to try that next time. And although I love funnel cake and popcorn, I must admit I have never had them at WDW. But since everyone keeps talking about how good they are, I'm gonna have to try them one day!

I have never had the Jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzel, that sounds awesome! Where in AK are they? And yeah, definitely get the popcorn next time, it's so good!!!

I just realized we did the same countdown today! And we even have the same funnel cake picture! I really need to try one of those magical star cocktails. I see them everywhere here on the boards - they must be good!

LOL I know, I saw your countdown, but I didn't get a chance to comment on it yet, but I loved it! The magical star cocktails are sooooo good, I don't remember what is in them, but it's basically a lot of different alcohol mixed together!

I normally wouldn't be home at this time on a Monday, but I had to leave work for a doctor's appointment and I have a few minutes before I have to leave, so I wanted to do a quick update!

PAID IN FULL!!!!

Soooo happy to finally have my trip paid off, I wanted to pay it off at the beginning of the month but I kept miscalculating things and it just didn't happen! I'm still over a week early, my payment is due on the 28th, I just didn't feel like waiting since I have the money now! Now I begin the loooooong waiting period before I get my Mickey Mail! Another month til that happens!

Ughhhh this binder is turning out to be such a pain in the a*#!!! I keep having to do things over, I should have just stuck to the folder I have! However, mine isn't falling apart like yours, it's just too small, it's just a regular 2 pocket folder, but it's so cute! It has Cinderella on it with the castle behind her, but the castle has the Christmas lights on it! I'm sad I won't be able to use it, but hopefully this binder will make up for it once I'm finished with it...if I don't throw it out the window first!

Last year I used a folder with like 5 or 6 pockets, it was like a little filing folder and it was great! I'm almost considering using that again this year instead of the binder...

I'm not sure if I'm a big fan of the trip binder...I started putting all of my info in the sections and I don't know if I like it! I know trip binders are the way to go on here, but it might not be for me...I like my folder from last year better! But I spent so much time on it last night it will really upset me if I don't use it! It turned out really cute...I just don't know how it's going to be when I'm at the airport and I'm trying to get my boarding passes out or my rental car info...I like having everything where I can get it quickly and it seems like this binder is going to annoy me when we actually leave. I don't know. I'm making such a big deal out of nothing!

We haven't put any money towards our balance since July b/c my DH (who is the only one who works) was hurt at work, so his paychecks have been about half of what they were, so groceries came first! He is fine now so we can pay again! We don't have to pay until Oct 21 and we only owe about $90 so it shouldn't be hard at all! Congrats again!

Thanks! I put up pics from my November trip, it was my top 10 favorite things from that trip...maybe I didn't do a chapter link for it, I haven't been keeping up with those! I'm going to check out your PTR as soon as I'm finished here!

I wanted to take 95 the whole way down, but DH said it's longer that way and I guess it kind of is, since we were way out in the middle of NC! Either way, if I have to go again, I'm flying!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to quickly show you my trip binder, I finished putting all the cute little pictures on it and everything, now I just have to fill in the sections with all the info and that's going to take a while!

Here is what I was using before the binder:

Got it last year at Wal Mart right after I got back from my trip in November because I knew I wanted to go back this year and I loved how the castle on the front had the lights on it!

Here is the binder:

I really like the cover, but i wish the binder itself wasn't white! Oh well!

And here are all of the dividers and sections that I need to fill in:

Resort reservations-don't know how it got wrinkled like that, it wasn't like that last night.

ADR's and Restaurant Info. I don't know if I should include the Food and Wine menus in that section? I guess so, right?

Getting there and car rental info. This section is the one that bothers me most because I will need to be pulling stuff out of here and putting it back at both airports when we depart and arrive and then pick up our car. I feel like it's going to be a pain to pull out the binder every time I need something!

Park Hours. I will probably also include our itinerary in this section also. I wish I knew how to make a spreadsheet on a Mac! Right now my itinerary is handwritten!

Miscellaneous. I put some info about MVMCP in there and whatever other random stuff I feel the need to print out and bring with me! I'm thinking about making MVMCP it's own section, but for now it can stay there!

And that's the trip binder! If anyone has any suggestions on how to make it better, please let me know, any sections I left out or anything! I just did the major ones that I could think of right now. I like it, I'm happy with how it turned out, but I just don't know if I like the binder part of it. I should put up a picture of what I used last year because I feel like it was so much easier!

That's so cute! I like that it's simple, but still cute! I managed to find an old journal-style notebook in my room that I've never used, and I'm going to turn it into a trip notebook, since my folder's falling apart
