Once DDE finally charges, when do they ship?

Hi! I see that DDE finally charged my card!! Yippee! We leave in a week and they charged at the end of last week. Do I have any hope of getting it by the time we leave? Thanks!

it took about 6 weeks from the time my card was charged til i received my card.

I got my card last week, ordered i on feb 7th, and they never charge me yet(they say they charged me on march 17th) but my account doesnt show it.

I ordered mine on 3/11, haven't seen a charge yet, still haven't received the cards either.

They just sent out the last batch from February orders to their mailing center in Pennsylvania. Could be another two weeks for February folks to receive their cards.

It's looking more like 8 weeks for processing, not 4 to 6.

there were quite a few people that were saying three weeks on another thread. I don't know. I know that ours was charged on March 31st and we have not received ours. it would be nice to get it before we leave on Saturday but i don't think it is going to happen. I just know it will be sitting in our mailbox when we get home from our trip!

I ordered mine on 3/23 hoping to have them for a 5/11 trip. I gave up on that dream long ago, hehe. I thought six weeks would be enough - but if people are just getting them from early Feb. I have lost any hope. At least I got the e-mail before they stopped doing that. I've resigned myself to using the letter on my whole trip ( I really like hard cards and was looking forward to a new one though), but I am still deadly curious as to what is taking so long. The lead time for printing books isn't this long, LOL. What's so hard about a little plastic card? In 2005, I feel like it just shouldn't take that long, even if there is just one person sitting at a machine stamping them individually. I also wish they'd just charge my dang card - it's my checking debit card, and I do a ton of electronic banking so it would be nice for my balance to reflect what I actually have.

just showed the authorization online this morning..we will be leaving for WDW
5/9, again, just 2 days before you. Please keep in touch with me, cuz, like you, I would really like the convience of a little plastic card, and I am trying
to stay optimistic that it will arrive in the next 20 days now before our trip!

I ordered my card on March 3 and my credit card was charged April 4. We leave at 10:30pm on the 10th of May and we haven't received ours yet either... but to answer your question....

NOT A SHOT!!!

They are so far behind they are at almost 8 weeks between order and mailing. But just stop by customer service at Epcot and they'll give you something so you can receive you 20% off...

They must be processing FL residents faster b/c I know 3 people-one of them my DD who have all bought DDE and the and they haven't had to wait more than 3 weeks and they just started ordering last month. My dad ordered his (I know b/c I am planning his WDW trip) on March 29 and he rec'd it on April 15.

So if we are leaving on June 3 (just over 6 weeks from today), should I order DDE today in hopes of having my little card in hand by the time I leave, or order it 2 weeks before we leave and just plan on using the letter they will mail to me? Downside to ordering now is that the membership expires that much sooner, but I would trade earlier expiring membership to have my card in hand by the time I leave. Thoughts?

I live just north of WDW, and renewed our DDE membership in March. (Our current card expires the end of this month.)
I ordered via fax what must have been March 13.
I received an e-mail March 16, of a letter dated the 14th.
My cc was just charged April 12.
No cards yet.
If other FL residents are getting their cards on a timely manner, lucky them. That theory does not include me.

I ordered our DDE on March 15th. My CC was just charged on April 13th. The e-mail they sent for confirmation expires at the end April. I sure hope it comes before our trip. I still have a little more than month to go before we are at Disney World but we are going to be leaving the last week of May to go to my in-laws before we go to FL.

ohhh! I hope that happens for us! does anyone know if you can exchange
your email for a temporary card at epcot? that would be my next best
choice!

From what has been posted, I think the temporary card at Epcot is a letter, the same as the e-mail. I used the e-mail in early March with no problem. I took some extra copies, which came in handy when I left the original at Boma. I have the feeling that people were taking the e-mail, which was a word doc, and changing the name for others to use, which is why they stopped the e-mails.
