We, (myself, DW, DD7 and DD6, Dmom and Dmom's b/f) are staying at the Wilderness Lodge between 4/29 and 5/7. We've never been to WDW in May and we are very much looking forward to it.. can't wait!

DH and I will be celebrating our 1st Anniversary May 12-19!

UGH!!.. Dilemma, dilemma!!! I have a choice, either 3nights/4 park hopping days May 21-24, which we've loved May before (except we've had twice that amount of time!!)j or wait until last week in June and be able to stay for 8 park hopping days (and assume we'll deal with humidity and much larger crowds!! Sounds like May should be it if I look at this thread, however; June means more days!! Any advice?????

My family willl be going 4/28-5/4...our kids first trip!!! They are 9 and 11. Staying at CSR and POFQ. Never been in May, but from what I'm reading here, it sounds awesome!

Any chance of a discount code or package specials at this time???

In 2005 we went the last weekend in April and this year wanted to try May 3-7. I know that there are grad nights at Magic Kingdom, the marathon, its close to mother's day weekend. Do you think that will affect the crowds? We want to go after spring break but before everyone gets out for summer. Any suggestions? This is only our second trip. Thanks!

DW and I are booked for a stay at the YC from 5/7 to 5/11 for the F&GF. The only days I would be somewhat concerned about are May 5 & 6. These are both Grad Nights and the MK will be reserved for them from 10PM to 4AM. Since the Grads are there, the other parks may have larger attendance than normal around these days. That's why we booked from the 7th - hoping they will be leaving that Sunday when we arrive.

We will be there Memorial Day and Gay Day weekend..any advice on weather and crowds?

We've gone in early May and it was delightful. Any advice??

We'll be there as well for Memorial Day and Gay Days. Part of that crowd you might miss by visiting gaydays.com , as they're scheduled days are posted on their website (this tidbit was shared with me months ago, and so I'm hoping that maybe it works!) At any rate, have a great trip and be sure to wear something lime green during the week so the rest of us can spot you!

For the past 6 years we have gone in August and at Christmas. We just got back. (we also went last year in April as DD's choir sang at Epcot). We have decided no more August..after Charley, the crowds and the heat, and now, no more Christmas. WHile the decorations are pretty, it is too crowded, especially after we got a taste of April (after Easter break..no crowds). SO, as DD has started college and is out May 5...she and I are going to switch to May, although not this year, but in 07. After going twice a year, that seems like such a long wait, but as she is in college, she want's to spend more time with friends during breaks. But, I am looking forward to going in May, even if it is in 07.

Our family will be taking our first trip to Disney April 30th-May6, and we are sooooo excited. With the exception of my husband who was born in Florida, this will be our first time south of Myrtle Beach. To top it off, my parents have decided to join us; to give us a night or two out by ourselves. We will be staying at Beach Club Villas; Stormalong Bay, here we come.

We'll be at SSR 22 April to 5 May - can't wait!! We are treating my family to two weeks of Disney magic , this will be the first time DH and I go with other people. Definitely interesting, as dining choices etc have to be different this time (DH and I are "foodies" and loooove long leisurely TS lunches and dinners, not ideal for kids...).
