Onboard Booking without TA

Hi everyone! I read somewhere that if we are working with a TA for this cruise, if we do onboard booking it automatically links it with the same TA. Is that correct? Can I ask for the TA to be removed? She has not been of much help and has given us incorrect information at times; and I wouldn't want to keep working with her. Any advice on how to do this will be very appreciated!
 
Yes, you can ask to NOT have a TA designated. You just can’t switch to a different TA - or not until you are off the ship and submit a transfer.

Totally. We did this after our first cruise. Our TA was nice, but we didn't need full services for our next cruise and I wanted to find someone with some perks. So, when I filled out my paperwork, we checked off 'no TA'. Then when I got home, I had my reservation transferred where I wanted it. Extra steps for me, but not onerous. Just be sure you do it within the 30 days after you make your reservation (and leave a few days on the end for the paperwork to be processed).
