I was on the last Med cruise from Barcelona that left September 9. The second day of the cruise we booked onboard for our next cruise, and named Dreamsunlimited the travel agent, as that is who we used for the Med cruise. I have not heard anything from Dreamsunlimited about my reservations (it is 2 cabins) and am wanting to make a paymenton the reservation, but the Disney Cruise Line website does not give me the option of making a payment- I'm assuming that's because it is listed under a travel agent in their system. I have emailed my travel agent that worked on my med cruise, as well as the general information emil for Dreams Unlimited, but does anyone have any idea how long I should have to wait to have access to my reservation through DU? It has ben almost a month and I really want to start paying on it. Thanks for any thoughts! Marybeth

You should have had an email from your travel agent once they received the info from Disney, confirming the reservation. For our 8/16 Alaskan cruise, the day we debarked, I had an email from Disney, confirming our placeholder reservation. 2 weeks later I had an email from my travel agent about it.

Your cruise was around the time of Hurricane Irma in Florida, so that may have delayed things a bit in sending the info from DCL to your agent.

If you have your reservation #'s from Disney, make sure to give them to your agent. Hopefully they'll get back to you soon!

I had something very similar. I booked a placeholder on board, my agent is DU. I never received an email from Disney (that's what I thought was going to happen) with my placeholder #. So the first day back, I called Disney, got my placeholder # and emailed it to my agent. I already knew at that date which cruise i wanted and what cabin number. So later that day, my DU TA emailed me back with the link where I had access to the system, and paid the rest of my deposit (since I owed some money after the placeholder). Everything took a matter of minutes. I was surprised I didn't have an email from Disney with my placeholder info waiting for me upon our return. I should add, my TA told me she would contact DCL, but I figured it would be faster if I did, so, as I said it literally took a few minutes. Good luck!

Thanks for your input! I did include the Disney Reservation number in my emails to Dreams Unlimited. I did receive my comfirmations from Disney, and the reservations show up on the Disney Cruiseline website, I just can't make a payment or anything! The last time I emailed my agent was last week, and I have still heard nothing! Hopefully I will hear something soon!

It is important to follow up quickly. If for some reason, the cruise was not assigned to your TA, it has to be transferred within 30 days of booking.
