Have never used Disney transportation.

We are on our April cruise. Where is the list of airports that Disney works with, I cant find the list anywhere.

If my airline is on the list does that mean we dont need to see our luggage once we put it in the hall till we get to our home airport?

Thanks

Steve

This was the information from our 2014 cruise re: Onboard Airline Check In:
ONBOARD AIRLINE CHECKIN
From Port Canaveral: (from cruise documents 8/9/2014)
The requirements are below
    • You must have purchased DCL Air and/or DCL Ground Transfers
    • Your flight has to leave from Orlando International Airport after 11:30 am on the same day your cruise vacation ends.
    • Your flight must be on a participating airline:
AirTran Airways (no longer in business)
Alaska Airlines
American Airlines (USAirways merged)
Delta Air Lines
JetBlue Airways
United Airlines

· Your final destination must be within the U.S. (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
· Each luggage piece can weigh no more than fifty (50) pounds.
· Airline specific baggage fees may apply and can vary by airline. Please check with your specific carrier for more details.
· Applicable airline baggage fees will be posted directly to your shipboard account.
· Some Guests may be selected to check in at the airport and may not be able to use this service.

If you do participate in the Onboard Airline Check In, you will place your bags outside your room the last night and won't see it again until your home airport.

To further clarify the airport call sign is MCO for Orlando International Airport. Disney will not transfer you to another airport.

Yeah I saw that list also. Thats w I asked. Does anyone know if SouthWest participates?

So how does it work then? Do I have to get luggage to the bus?
If you're flying SouthWest, yes. You leave your bags outside your room onboard the last night. DCL will get it off the ship and into the terminal, so you don't have to wrangle it over breakfast and off the ship. You then claim your bags in the terminal and carry them through customs/immigration.

If you're using DCL transfers, you will then hand off your bags to the bus driver, and they will be placed beneath the bus for the tip to the airport. At the airport, you claim you bags and check them in when you check in for your flight, or with the curbside baggage check.
