What kind of muffins do you like?

As for WDW, I'm not going to be a lot of help. Are you planning on counting points or just looking for healthier choices?

I find it to be so hard to count at WDW, being on the move all the time, without the same resources I'm used to having at home, both food-wise and tracking-wise. As long as I don't go too crazy, I find that I rarely gain at WDW - the miles of walking in the parks balances the food pretty well for me, so long as I don't go crazy, avoid fried stuff, etc.

I actually tracked everything while I was there. I brought a lot of snacks that I could easily measure, like 94% popcorn, Fiber One bars, etc. I did eat Lunch and Dinner every day either in the parks or one night off site. I stuck to Kids Meals and went with ones I could easily calculate, i.e. Spaghetti, 1/2 wrap, etc. Kids meal sides have grapes and something else healthy (I am blanking at the moment, I think baby carrots) as choices and you can get a lowfat milk too as the drink choice. It worked out well...I did treat myself a few times, at DTD split a Ghiradelli sundae with my sister...my 1/2 was 11 pts, but well worth it!!!

We did one character meal, the Norway princess breakfast at Epcot...I ate 17points at that one meal, but I planned for it...

Good luck to you, and have a great trip!

well I normally eat oatmeal every morning but I don't like other places oatmeal too watery for me:scared: I am going to bring my kashi protein bars to me they taste like a candy bar for that afternoon snack and they are only 2 to 3 pts depending on which one i bring with me :) . I was also going to bring fruit with me as well.

I do like all types of muffins but again I don't want to buy a muffin lets say at MK not because of the price because of the fat content in them which is probably 10 pts for each muffin :scared1: so I thought if I could make some muffins before I leave (friday night) they would stay sort of fresh for the couple of days I will be there then I could eat a low pt breakfast with some fruit for breakfast.

they aren't great, but they're not bad and you know exactly what the points are. I'm mailing a box of food down the week before we go with the snacks and breakfast foods that I know what the points are for exactly this reason. It will be difficult enough to calculate lunch & diner without having to worry about breakfast in the room.

I just do the recipe on the All Bran box, use egg beaters & pumpkin.
