We are a Loews Platinum cardholder and was wondering what the upgrade would be at the Royal Pacific Hotel. We stayed at the PBH last month and was given the Portifino suite and loved it. I would like to try the RPR this time with the upgrade but don't know if it would be too small for 3 adults and 2 children. One of the main reasons for wanting to stay here is that it's a shorter walk to the parks. Thanks for your opinions!

Most of our RPR trips we have been upgraded to a king suite.
It has a king bed in the BR and a very uncomfortable queen pull out in the LR. My kids didn't seem to care.
One bathroom, it's in the LR.

We are also Platinum and usually stay at RPR. We are a family of 5 - 2 adults, 3 children. When we tried to make reservations for our latest trip (starting tomorrow), RPR consistently told us that a family of 5 could not be upgraded to a king suite via a platinum upgrade. The highest upgrade we could get would be a water view. I became tired of arguing that others have put 5 in a king suite, hence our move to PBH, where we were upgraded to a villa suite!

Goofy, just to clarify, I have 4 in my party so I'm not sure about the 5 person rule. I find most of the *rules* are very inconsistant anyway.

I agree - they are totally inconsistent with their "rules." I tried to make reservations during the week where the 3 people to a king suite was in force. Who knows what the rules were the following week :goodvibes

Anyway - we ended up better off, so now we are really looking forward to the 3 bathrooms :cool1:

Back to finish packing!
