At home we use a tag-a-long bike for my 4-year old. It's like a small bike that hitches on to the back of an adult bike, almost making it like a bicycle built for two. Does anyone know if they have these for rent at VWL? We would like to bike over to Fort Wilderness but we don't think she'll make it on her own! (We're flying this trip, otherwise we would bring our own). thanks

No, they don't have that. They have small bikes with training wheels and bikes that have the child seat attaches behind the adult seat.

They also have surrey bikes, and your daughter can sit in the middle on the seat, or in the basket depending on her size. We had one DD in between us and 3yoDD in the basket ringing the bell, both loved it!

dizneeluvr,
That sounds like it would be fun with the kids. Do you remember how much that costs and for how long(a half hour or an hour?) Thanks!

I'm really not sure of the cost, it didn't seem unreasonable, $30-35 an hour maybe? You get a DVC discount of about 10% as well. Sorry, it was 10 months ago, and I just can't recall exactly what it cost. I thought it was worthwhile and we will do it again in January on our next trip home!
