? on transfers on Med cruise

we will be on the MEd in sepand IM still trying to tie up lose ends mainly how to get from one spot to the next

well be coming in the day before the cruise and thinking of staying at the Barcelona Renisance

(someone here recommended it--I know its one of the hotels disney deals with but theres no more rooms with disney--however the hotel still has rooms so we can book on our own)

the other person mentioned that there was a disney cruise desk at the hotel--so can we buy transfers there or do we have to have them in advance

also were looking into airport pick up--someone also mentioned BArcelona day tours I was just wondering on the price

any other tips or advice on the Med would be terrific

we are doing a med cruise in september. thus far, we will just take a taxi from airport to hotel and the same or metro once i see the port area. i've read some reports that there are many hotels that are basically walking distance. i'm sure we will cab it from the port to the airport. to me it doesn't seem that big a city, i've read the cab fares are not bad, so hopefully easy. we are just two adults with carry ons so i want to keep it low key and easy.

as far asters, i've been googling many, reading rick steves and other guides. we arrive in the afternoon and i think i am going to buy tickets to the sagrada familia the afternoon we get in, see that and then tootle around and eat. unfortunately for me, i have become enamored of the dali museum in figueraso on our one full day in barcelona, i think we will take a train there and do a tour and come back! i am having a hard time finding a guided tour in barcelona that would hit everything BUT sagrada familia and starts in the afternoon! we sail saturday. barcelona seems so cool!!!!
