We have already watched this show several times on TIVO (My 6 year old daughter keeps requesting to watch it!) and...

The scene of your video footage I guess you sent it where ya'll are all riding on the safari, well...
It looked to me like you had on a jacket with black fringe hanging off of it. I kept rewinding it and wondering what in the world you had on. Then I showed it to my hubby and he said it was the shadow of the fringe off the vehicle! DUH! I still keep laughing about it. I thought you were wearing a fringed jacket!

By the way, if you didn't see it earlier in another post of mine, I loved your quote about tracking time by your vacations.

I also get teased by my family for my planning, now that they saw your itinerary I think they'll let up a little. Thanks!

You guys were great! Erika, your boys are just adorable! I remember taking my kids at that age, they were always so excited.

Dave, funny thing you will be there in 10 days, we leave in 15 days! I have two teen DDs, and an 8yo DS. I felt like we were watching us, but only the opposite kids! LOL, my 16yo DD thinks your 17 yo DC is sooooooooo cute!

Hello Dave and welcome to the DIS!!!!! You're right about everyone being friendly around here. You'll never find another bunch of Disney Nuts like us!!!! We loved the show and we enjoyed you and Ericka running around the parks having fun with your families. Just back from the park myself 2 weeks ago and miss it terribly already!!! I taped your show and put it in our Disney library. When we get "homesick" we drag out all the shows and pop popcorn and in our own way we're there!!! Have fun here on the DIS!!!

Parmtoo -- Thanks for the mention of your daughter about my son. The oldest had got a "howdy" from a girl on another board, so my 17-year-old now has equal bragging rites (lets keep our kids apart -- I can't afford the Disney weddings I saw on the food channel not long ago!).

Lenshanem -- lol! Yeah, I wear a lot of fringe! I think in 6th grade I had a "spaghetti jacket," but the fashion police (aka DW) would never have let me get away with that! I'll have to look at it again. We're waiting for a copy once it premieres on Discovery HD.

Tinkbell -- you should have seen the setup for Dinosaur! They used two vehicles. One full of extra's and us that was used for departing and returning shots, and another where they took out the front row for a grid they could lock the camera and seat the director. Then they put a light strip under the hand grips in front of our seats and sent us out two more times. Those times we're reacting to the dinosaurs? We can't see a thing! It was so funny, we'd be screaming, and it would just be the Iguanadon!

I loved all of your segments, and kind of felt like I was right there with you! You were all amazingly relaxed and natural on camera- we may have to start a letter-writing campaign to have this made into a series.

I also loved Dave's planning binder- I'm guilty of planning *some* trips ALMOST to that degree- binders and copies of schedules for everyone!

You'll find Bob Sehlinger (the author of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World as well as another costar on your show) hanging around here at times, too!

Welcome to the Dis, Dave.....you'll love it around here, I have found plenty of friends and lots of info around here. I enjoyed watching your family's vacation and knowing that someone else plans everything like I do. Enjoy your upcoming trip and again welcome to the Dis.

Ericka, I remember reading that a Diser's family was selected to be on this show, but as we were watching it I had no idea which family belonged to the Dis.....I just wanted to say, your family really reminded me of mine, and all my family enjoyed watching your trip. My mil, who is traveling with us next time, just so happened to be over and was watching the show with us, I made a point to say, see, she has a mom along to watch the kids in the evening too!

Oh and Dave, I so totally have to agree with what you said about passing the years with your Disney trips, I feel the same way. Disney is such a great place to make lasting memories.

To both of you, I really enjoyed watching you and your families enjoy your vacations.

I really enjoyed watching the show and will catch it again on Thursday. Not everyone has the same touring style. My family does actually sleep in ! We like to stay out late and have had great luck hitting Fantasyland and Toontown late at night when the little one's are fast asleep in their strollers.

You ALL did a great job!
