We have the Lite Radio station piped in here at the office. (WLTW for you NY area listeners). As of yesterday, I have noticed that they have been playing more "patriotic" songs ("God Bless The USA," "God Bless America", Etc). As far as I can tell, this did not start until yesterday, so this movement certainly didn't start with the war.

So I was wondering...is your station playing more patriotic songs lately?

I don't listen to the radio with any frequency, but I have noticed that they are playing more war movies on AMC, FOX and TCM. The ones that were made to boost morale during WWII.

I have been noticing too that more and more patriotic songs are being played. I started noticing it on Monday:D

the country stations have played more of it and the classic rock station has played Jimi Hendrix's version of Star Spanged Banner

Ours does... I think they put in a patriotic song every hour now on the station I listen to.

I've heard them over the noon request hour if at all, not so much else throughout the day as the local station has No Repeat 9-5.
