Why we booked a 2 night trip I'll never know (well I do. Jack was being a bit resistant and it was the only way I managed to convince him. But now he blames me for it being too short! Hah!)
Full TR to follow but here are our highs and lows.
Really not many lows so I'll start with them:
1- Princesses. More lack thereof. I have a princess and it's basically impossible to meet any unless you are willing to queue crazy amounts. DLRP really needs to get on this and sort out better meets. More of them. And maybe FPs for them.
2- One of my photopass photos didn't work (ToT the one time I rode) went back to the shop and the guy was less than helpful but tried to re-add it anyway. Still not on there.
3- Weather could have been better but it's wasn't too bad compared to what was forecast.
4- I should've brought more than one pair of shoes! Ow!
(So as you can see nothing too major)
So onto the highs:
1 - Disneyland Hotel.
Words can't describes how perfect staying here makes a trip. So convenient. Beautiful. Staff are all amazing. Breakfast is wonderful. It smells divine.
I ordered gifts for DH and DD to be in our room on arrival. They sorted this out when I checked in which meant we had a 15 minute wait for the room (no problem) but even so the CM at the desk gave Aibee a voucher for a free balloon.
2 - Cast Members
All so wonderful with DD.
3 - Dreams
I forgot how great this was. Aibee loved it.
4- Swing into Spring
We saw all the shows today and they were awesome. Aibee got so much attention.
Which leads onto
5- Characters
While we've met characters plenty (had them at our wedding) in the past seeing them through my daughters eyes was incredible. I was a little nervous she might be shy or scared but she loved every second. We were lucky and met Minne and Mickey together as her first ever meet and we had to queue behind a couple of families. She was wiggling about and saying "Aibees turn!" The whole time so when it was our go I just put her down and she ran over.
She was dressed as Rapunzel while we watched the parade and she got so much attention from dancers and characters. Flynn Rider blew her a kiss!!
6- Inventions
Also carries on from above. She was beside herself in here. We had the best seat in the place and got all the characters first. As soon as they came out the door she would shriek their name and they'd come running over. We go so much time with all of them. Mickey came to her 3 times! Fabulous.
7- Ratatouille
Firm favourite with all 3 of us. Incredible attraction and the whole area really gives WDS a lot more credibility.
8- WDS in general.
A lot more enjoyable with a little one. Aib adored Animagique and Disney Junior. And the huge Buzz and Rex in Toy Story Playland.
Aibee is in love with the cork popping part! "Ratatouille pop splash!!!"
I could go on and on. Honestly a fabulously perfect trip. So sad it's over!
