We have issues..... :sad2:

I LOVE Spectro! Yeah, I cry. Just like when I first enter Main St, watch Wishes, Illuminations, see Ally getting special treatment from a character, well, pretty much at least once a day in WDW I'm crying over something.

And I'm definitely crying over the move. We find out today the final plan.....

keeping my fingers crossed that it goes the way that you want it to and that they take care of the house.

How does one exactly end up in Disney Jail???:rotfl2: Does it involve a can of McSparklsone whopp A$$?:lmao:

Kind of bummed here today too. Just canceled our POR ressies. It is a go for staying off site this time.

LOVE the Spectro pics!! You almost ended up in the Disney slammer?! What did you do?! :scared1:

OK, before my name becomes McSparkleson Mudd, I need to tell you.... just because I lived in SC for 13 years, I didn't go THAT redneck!!!! :rotfl2: But for the rest of the trip Jeff was convinced that I was just one "look" away from slugging someone......

Stay tuned!

TUNED!!!:lmao:

Oh, I hate for you that you are moving! Just keep looking forward to all the new house decorating!

And when you do the moves in the car- do you also do the spinning around one? That would be way cool! :rotfl2:

On the 9th day of Christmas, Walt Disney gave to me....

9 Fightin words.....
8:00 Wishes
7 bathroom pit stops
6 Epcot "Santas"
5 million dancing lights
4 parks one world
3 season passes
2 1/2 hr drive
and a room at the Wilderness Lodge

Say what? Fightin words? What's that????

Well, I will tell you.

After Spectro, we found a nice spot on Main St waaaaaaaay back by the entrance, and made our speedy exit afterwards.

When we got on the bus Ally and I made our way to the back and Jeff just stopped up front because it was crowded and he knew he'd be standing anyway. Poor guy has never been seated on a Disney bus......

Now, before I get flamed for this, I do NOT "expect" to be seated on Disney transportation. I do not "expect" anything from anyone. HOWEVER, it upsets me a LOT to see children, elderly folks, pregnant women, etc, standing. It just shouldn't be. Kinda like a fly in your soup, or hair in your pasta, or tuna fish and peanut butter (another story......).

So, with that said, Ally and I headed to the back of the bus. The lights went off and I looked around and saw two young couples, as in younger than me, sitting comfortably while Ally stood. Hey, I'll stand every time. I'm 43 years old and a 10 minute ride won't hurt me one bit.

But an 8 year old can't reach the hand holds up above. And when 30-somethings are kicked back and relaxed so that she can't even grip their seat, we have a problem.

Mama Bear in in da house! Or on da bus in this case.....

Poor Ally was falling all over the place. She was holding on to me for dear life but every time the bus accelerated she flew into the guy standing behind her. Every time it braked, she knocked into me and threw me into the lady in front of me.

You get the idea.

At one point she looked up at me and asked, "Mommy, why won't anyone let me sit down?"

And here goes Mama Bear, spouting off, "Well, honey MEN AREN'T AS POLITE AS THEY USED TO BE." Did you count? That was 9 fightin words.....

And btw, there was a woman in front of me holding a baby and standing up!!!!!

One of the 30-somethings that wouldn't even budge so Ally could hold onto his seat turned around and said,

"You're right, we aren't."

Just like that!!! Oh, Mama Bear is ready to throw down at this point! I wanna see the WDW popo come out!!!!

I very nicely said, "Well, I just don't think ANY child should have to stand on ANY moving vehicle."

At which point the POS chicken turned around and ignored me.

Oh yeah, uh huh. I kicked his rude behind in the war of words!

Mama Bear - 1
Rude POS - 0

When we got back to WL, we got off and waited for Jeff to get off and join us, and I gave the Rude POS the look. Oh yeah I did. Oh yeah, uh huh..... And I puffed my chest out a little bit. He knew he was whooped.

And still no WDW popo.

Jeff looked at me, with the steam coming out of my ears, and said, "oh oh, what did you do?"

At which point Ally proceeded to tell him, not so quietly. Other bus getter offers quickly gave me a thumbs up, and Rude Whooped in the War of Words POS just went slinking back to his room.

Seriously, I make a joke of it, but I really do NOT expect it. But when they wouldn't even move an inch so she could grab the seat, had their feet in the aisles so we were all tripping over them. I have to draw a line somewhere.

And that was my line.

Jeff and Ally headed back to the room while I turned the other way to head to the gift shop for some Christmas shopping. As I broke off from Jeff and Ally I hear, "And stay out of trouble!!!"

Yes, that's my dear husband..... always worried about me.... :rolleyes1

Up next, more photos and Ally gets elected to office!!!!

:thumbsup2You go mom!!!!! My 30 and 20 year old sons whould have stood and given both of you the set. I'm a southern mom and raised my boys to off seats, open doors, pull out a womans seat etc... Don't know what has gotten into some of these guys. It's just manners.

Good for you! When we were there in late Aug. same thing happend. I had my then 15 month sleeping on me and my 3 year sitting on my lap while i sat in one seat. I offered to stand for an 80 lady to sit down, while the two people in there late teens watched and said nothing. Where have manners gone?

I'm just joining and enjoying it very much.

I know what you men aout buses. We went last March, and my DH stood almost everytime and he was in major pain the whole trip. We later found out his hip was bascially about to fall off and he ended up getting a hip replacement this past fall. But he would never dream of sitting while children were standing. He will even move back when we watch parades so smaller people can get in front and see better!

I am glad I found your report.

Whew! Thank you all for not flaming me!!! I've been attacked before for making similar comments, but like I said, I don't "expect" it. It is just a manners thing and I guess being 40-something :rolleyes1 I was raised in such a way that men DID pull out chairs, open car doors, offer seats, etc. It's such a shame what has happened.

But as a woman, I would gladly offer my seat, or when on the bus late at night, I will pull all 58 lbs (just went to the dr today so it's accurate!) of Ally on to my lap to make more room.

Oh, and did I mention not once, not twice, but THREE times in one weekend I saw people put strollers in seats late at night!!!! The man sat in one seat with the stroller on the aisle seat!!!! :sad2: Instead of the man standing and holding the stroller, and thereby leaving TWO seats for kids and others..... It was shocking!!!!

And I'm not finished with my attempts (much to Jeff's chagrin- love that word!) of throwing down in WDW!!!! I'm still waiting for the WDW popo!!!!

Wow! Those POS's would have ended up battered and bruised from me falling and stepping all over them. After all they were in my fall path! :thumbsup2 OMG I'm so sorry I kicked you in the nuts but I had nothing to hold onto. :rolleyes1

Good for you for giving them ****. it's disturbing though that they didn't give a **** until they were made the centre of attention and then just slinked away.

I don't know why people are so rude these days. It's as if by giving up some space to someone else, they are somehow made to feel "less than." I have seen my SIL and DIL actually not require the kids to move so adults can have a seat. It's like, "WHAT?" "They are people too." Yes LITTLE PEOPLE!

Some people just weren't raised right. And though I raised mine right, it seems mama rules the roost. :sad2: Good for you for speaking up!

Oh no he didn't! I had steam coming out of my ears just reading this! You handled it very well; much better than I think I would have.

:cool1: Way to go! That, along with not taking your hat off, walking or talking during the National Anthem, makes me crazy. And people who don't RSVP, but that's another day. :rolleyes1
