Anyone else on this cruise? Watching the weather - supposed to fly BOS-MCO on Wednesday, same day the storm is forecast to hit Bahamas and move to FL......<sigh>

Don't fret too much this early--they haven't a REAL clue yet as to where this thing might head.

Hope it misses us entirely and you can take your cruise!!!

Ill be on that cruise too. Not too worried. Im sure we will get to leave, may have to miss our ports. DCL does a great job of keeping you in a safe. We may just be driving around the gulf next week! Who care...sure beats being at work!

Hurricane Mathew is expected to make US landfall around Monday. That means well out of the Caribbean and almost a week before your cruise. I wouldnt worry

Good to hear - I hope you are right. Last forecast I saw this morning from The Weather Channel showed the storm hitting Bahamas on Tues, then making its way to FL/Mainland after that.

I totally get (lived in FL/Celebration almost 15 years) that the storm tracks are dynamic, and can't really say now where it's going to hit or when.

Granted it is early, but none of the models have it hitting Florida at all at this point.

Do you mean the 10/7 Dream (3 night) or the 10/10 Dream (4 night)? We are on the 10/7 and keeping a close eye. Biggest concern for me is seasickness and missing CC.

My bad - we are on the 10/7 3-Night (leaves Friday).....

Got it. We are also flying Wednesday, but from PVD. I'm going to keep a very close eye on tracks and watch for travel advisories that open up for flight changes (will go early if warranted.) I've been doing a ton of reading on what happens with a a Hurricane, and the reports from Hurricane Joaquin last year give me comfort that DCL will make the cruise as special as possible - even if we miss CC.

But like others have said, the tracks can change so quickly and so much, that I'm just watching.

I just realized I'm on the Dream 4Night starting Monday...Oh well, Like I said, just get me on a boat where it goes...I don't care! Last year we did the Fantasy 7 day Western and we were in line boarding as the Fantasy came in late because of the Joaquin. Actually, all the ships came in late to Canaveral. I believe that our boarding time got moved backed a few hours. They will figure something out.

it should be well past the Bahamas by Friday the 7th if the models hold true. It is supposed to be at the southern end of the Bahamas Tuesday morning. The 10/3 4-night may be the one with a modified itinerary at this point. The Fantasy is going to western Carib so it should not have any problems at this point

Here's hoping it all works out and you can still get a visit to Castaway Cay by Thursday. As for the other port, I assume you probably wouldn't mind if instead of Nassau, you get an extra sea day. :)

I'm on the Western sailing this Saturday, and I'm very curious how everything will play out.

We are sailing out this Sunday NYC to Bermuda. I am concerned about sailing into the path of it, or having to sail through it to get home. Right now the weather for Bermuda for next wek is abysmal. Good luck and safe travels to all.

At this point we have to hope the storm steers clear of CC. If it takes a direct hit, then many of the buildings could sustain major damage along with downed trees, etc. This might could shut down that stop for a couple of weeks while they get everything back up and safe for visitors.

I would think the 10/7 should be fine. I'm on the 10/3. :( I'm hoping they just scoot into the gulf Monday night and let it pass. I'll leave it up to the experts though.
