? on state pins

Anyone hear or know how the quantities will be handled?
DH and I are wondering because as far as I know, Nebraska only has three TDS.
Does this mean they will only make under 100 of this pin? Or will they make the same amount for each state?

as we diligently stood in the pin line yesterday, we were wondering how many Idaho pins there would be as we have only 1 store (we think). So does that mean only 10-24 pins. That would be too weird.

I haven't heard anything definitive, but my assumption is that yes, each store will only get their usual pin quantity. So Idaho could only have 12-24 pins total.

I had wonderful plans for collecting all of the state pins. I bought one of those large quarter maps and was going to put the Mickey in each area. Then I found out that they are not making all 50 states. I wonder who decided this? Why are they leaving some states out. I know it can't be because there is no DS in the state, I can't imagine where that would be?

How in the same hill are we supposed to collect the whole country when we can only buy 2 pins to trade with. I mean I dont know about all of you but I dont think 25 of my family members want to wait in line at the DS on a Saturday morning to get me pins. So how do we trade what we dont have???? Bummer! Plus I heard the pins were mini's....anybody else hear this.

Good question Peggy and Cindy. I don't think they realized people would trade this pin. I don't know why but sometimes they make these off the wall decisions.
LIKE how long have we been asking for the disney store to carry pins. I think it only took about a year.

I had read somewhere (here?) that the state pins were mini. But nothing is ever confirmed until we see it for ourselves.
I thought it would be great to buy extra Nebraska state and trade in WDW in January. But once I heard of the two pin limit.....

And doesn't seem to be any point in trekking to the surrounding states to buy any. I can't imagine they won't sell out fast if each store just gets a few. A phone call may help. But that depends on what the buying rules are at that time. And the postage would would be the killer. It would cost just as much in postage as for the two pins.

my sister in law used to go to TDS in rutland all the time...but they closed it recently, and that was the only ds there..so no vermont state pin

have to get some others though..looks like i'll be getting on the email horn when time gets closer for my friends to head out....
