Hi All,
Does anyone know if the "new" 2005 Unofficial Guide is out yet,or when it will be???? [with the MYW ticket info,etc...] (LOVE!!!!That Book!!!).

Is there going to be a revised book? It is usually only put out once a year, released in October sometime.

I believe I read somewhere that due to all the MYW ticket and package info as well as many changes that have/are happening that there was going to be a second printing for 2005, with the updates. I would love to know for sure.

I got the Unofficial Guide 2005 and I wasn't impressed. It was almost the same as last year's Unofficial guide. I will get the 2005 passporter though b/c it's my absolute favorite Disney travel guide!!!!

Wow, melissa5583, there's almost a hundred pages of new content in the '05, if I recall correctly, from the 2004 edition. We have to do a better job of illustrating what's new. Maybe an icon or something would be helpful.

Just a little fyi, while planning our last trip, which was sept of 03, I was able to order the unofficial guide 2004, in july of 2003!
Ordered from amazon... didnt know if that would help anyone or not!

Will there be any kind of discount for those of us that bought the 05 edition already? I always pick up a copy and always enjoy reading it, and already have my 05, but might even buy a second one if it has info on the new park EMH and touring plans to make the most of it!

I don't see anything about a new version being made on their website. They post updates to be printed off, but nothing about a new one coming out???

Len - is there a new version coming out. It is my all time absolute favorite WDW guide. Even my DH (who was skeptical found it absolutely right on target). We don't follow the tour per se but followed all the tips on getting to the parks at opening, heading right for Fantasy Land (small children), enjoyed the hotel and restaurant sections. Actually I can't wait for a new edition to come out.

Hi folks,

Yes, a revised 2005 Unofficial Guide should be out sometime this month, with coverage of the new MYW tickets, EMH schedule, and more. Previews of the new coverage can be found at our website (www.TouringPlans.com), as always. The easiest way to tell whether a 2005 Guide is the most up-to-date is to check whether it includes a description of the MYW tickets. If it does, it's the most recent.

as Len pointed out the easiest way to know if it is the new 2005 is to check to see if it has information on Magic Your Way passes.

Yes I plan to order from Amazon as well, so the ISBN is very important I'm also wondering if perhaps brick and mortar shops such as BooksAMillion or B&N (or maybe even Amazon too!) will wait until they've sold the copies that they have of the first 2005 version before even ordering the updated one? Any thoughts on that? I went into BooksAMillion the other night just to check out the much heralded UG and they had SEVERAL copies on the shelf.

I am hoping they will have the updated UG at Borders before our trip because we leave on 2/26 and I don't think I will have time to order from Amazon.com. Hope it comes out soon! I have only bought the Birnbaum's book so even if it doesn't it sounds like you all would recommend buying the UG anyway even if I can't get the revised edition?
