I forgot my carry on with my magic bands and my bathing suits for the family! Can I claim my luggage myself and take it to the magical express? Not sure how that works. We put the yellow tags on the bags but we need to access them to get other bathing suits!

Since you put the yellow tags on the bags, the bags will not make it to the carousel and you will, unfortunately, not be able to claim them. Not sure if there is anything the CM at the DME counter can do to help you, but you could try asking them. Good luck.

You can just stop by the Disney CM desks at the airport (right outside the magical express area). They'll be able to get you on your magical express bus. You could ask them about getting your own luggage, but I'm guessing you'll have to wait until it arrives at your resort.
