On our way!

Checking in with all of you to let you know we are officially on the way! Left our cold and snowy home in Minnesota about 7pm tonight, and it is now 1:10am MN time. We are trying to reach EauClaire Wisconsin tonight- it's about an hour away yet. It's snowing right now.... we ran out of propane so it's freezing in here....but we will persevere!

I will keep everyone updated on our progress- hopefully tomorrow I'll get some pictures here in the motorhome- it should be an interesting day. My mom is with us, and as of about 10 minutes ago she still hadn't slept- she keeps coming out here to see where we are...where we are stopping....so on and so forth.... One of the kids is also still awake- I'm like SERIOUSLY??? GO TO SLEEP PEOPLE!!! The only reason I am still awake is because I don't want Joe to be the only one awake so I'm trying to offer moral support to him! But you can bet your booties when we stop I will be crawling into that little bed!!

I am so excited! It's going to be fun posting on here for everyone!

Safe travels. Had about 3 inches of snow Monday in SW Wisconsin, so roads are slippery. Get going before this icy weather starts on Thursday. Our Countdown is 13 days.

As a fellow Minnesotan I wish you safe travels. We will be heading down Jan 8th and I can't wait. I was just telling someone today the best feeling about the trip down is when we can roll down the windows and hang our arms out. Well hang the arms out without a winter jacket, mittens, hat, snowpants, ect.....
