So when we booked our dining package and the food we had my sister in law do it because she use to work there and knew the routine. But, Im not sure if she also notified them that it was our honeymoon and that on Sept. 3rd - that's my bday. How do I know make sure that they are aware of this???

Disney Dining and add the comments. Generally, the CMs are prompted to ask if you are celebrating anything this trip.

What happens once these are cited will vary with location and may not happen at some, but there should a nice, simple surprise along the line.

I think you could go on the reservations web-site and bring up your adrs. There is a section that asks if you are celebrating anything and you could add that.

Maybe the easiest thing, though, is when you get there, have the Concierge at your resort add to all your adr locations.

You should also get pins when you arrive that say Just Married and if you wear those and you have an attentive server, that should get you some special attention too.

The other contributor is correct, though, in saying that some places do things and some don't. I had a notation on our Ragland Road adr that we were celebrating my son's birthday and they really didn't recognize it, but later in the week when I hadn't made a special notation on the adr at Boma, he got a birthday cupcake. Both days he was wearing his celebration pin, so it is hit and miss.

What is this reservation website that you speak of??? Sorry I have no clue - I would LOVE to just add it myself. Anyone know of the website PP is talking about????

NEVER MIND! LOL - i started looking and found it - only problem - i put a celebration in on the wrong date with the wrong info (oops). We have a reservation on 9/5 and it put that it's my bday on 9-2 and we're celebrating then...well...my bday is really 9-3 and we are only celebrating it on 9-3 --- should be interesting to see what they do! LOL

You can add celebrations to as many reservations as you want, but I don't think you can remove them. Just enjoy your two birthdays. :)

Remember to pick up your "birthday" and "Just Married" buttons to wear (you can get them from the concierge at your hotel or at any Guest Relations).

As others have said, don't count on anything special happening - it's Disney and everyone is celebrating something, but at least the CMs will wish you Happy Birthday and Congratulations upon seeing your buttons.

Also, since you will be there for your actual birthday, you can get free admission to one park on that day - details are here http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/di...ebrate/index?name=WDWCelebrationsOverviewPage

Happy Birthday! I'm also on 9/3 :goodvibes

I can check my Called-In ADRs online now? Do I go to the same website as checking Online-Made ADRs? Cool! :cool1:
