Sent via FEDEX no less, a package from DVC....a book called "Dream". No, it's not the member book with the new points charts, it's the advertising book complete with a letter from my guide starting off "Dear Mr. and Mrs. X, Thank you for your interest in DVC." What's up with that????

Anyone else get one?



Oh, I just found the points chart in the back. It's for 2008 and 2009 and also includes a 2009 room rate chart comparison. Hmmm, one might wonder what happens in 2010.

Did you buy through the DL DVC office? A few of us that did received the same package. My thought was that they were placating us until they could release more info on VGC. At least it had nice pics of VGC and the Treehouses... but seems like a waste of money to me...

No, I bought 5 years ago via resale, purchased a 2nd resale contract, then added on 2 add'l contracts at once via my Guide. She is based in CA now, so maybe the DL part is the connection. Weird though. Not to mention a waste of $$$.

I got one of those when I first expressed an interest in buyin' to Disney a few months ago, bought thru resale instead, the book has some pretty pictures, but yeah, a waste of money to be sendin' out now especially by FedEx.

Yes, we received one just over a week ago. We had just added on, so I guess our guide was just being nice and sending us the new book with new pictures.

At first I was very excited and posted a thread about getting the new book--thinking without looking that it was the planner. I felt like Dopey when someone corrected me!
