Has anybody take on-line courses

I am taking one and boy, My first and maybe my last

trying to stay in tuned to all whats going on.


I just want to hear from any body out in the world in the same boat.

I took a few online courses. I prefer actual classes, but online courses can be great if your instuctor is accessible.

It does take discipline, though, that's for sure. What are you taking?

I love love love online courses. If I could take them all online I would!

The first one was interesting to say the least, but I really enjoy them.

You do need to be extremely organized, disciplined, and a decent writer.

If I could have all my courses online, I would. I've gotten better grades online courses than regular courses.

I have taken an Education, Health Science and Chemistry online!

I love the fact that I can do a whole month of work ahead of time, and check the course all the time.

I am taking them now and I love it. Currently I am taking Organized Crime, World Conflict and Terrorism.
It does require some balance with work and all and as was mention you need to be a fairly good writer and someone who is well organized.
My grades are staying up there so I can't complain.

I have just started taking on-line courses for my masters. I love this option because I can work on my courses any time of the day! I agree, you need to be organized, disciplined etc. I set aside a few hours each day at the same time of day. I teach so this summer has been fine. However, I am getting a little stressed thinking about this Fall when school is back in session.

I've taken several online courses to finish up my MBA. While I did prefer the classroom classes because the interaction was so much fun, I have enjoyed these classes too. I've actually developed some nice e-mail friendships with my online classmates too!

I start my last class on Sept 13 and then look forward to graduating in December. Once nice thing about online is that you can work ahead pretty easily. This is really handy for me since the class ends Oct. 29 and I go in to have DS on Oct 25. Needless to say, I'm planning to have everything turned in early. Nothing like keeping busy!

I've taken about 20 online classes and have gotten all A's and one B...so obviously I really like them! It's a great option for me because I was disabled in a car crash a few years ago and can no longer work in my field. Online classes has made it possible for me to retrain in a field in which I can work from home at my own pace.

To be successful in online classes you must be organized, a strong self-motivator, and a good writer. Good reading skills are also important. If you have those three characteristics, you will do just fine.
