On line checking for poly room long house request

Does anyone know why the Aotearoa longhouse is the only option listed for my room request option? Staying in a standard view room.
Only options i see are
adjoining rooms
balcony
ground floor
upper floor
lower floor
near elevator
Aotearoa building

thought it may be a scrolling issue on my computer but tried on two different cop

They'd extended the list to include a bunch of stuff that was bad/wrong/impossible, and now they truncated it.

I'll never understand why they make room requests available. They aren't guaranteed so when people don't get what they requested they get mad. It starts a lot of people's trips off on a bad note.

To answer the question maybe they've recatagorized a lot of rooms and there are no standards in the house you want? Just a theory. I don't know the poly that well.

No. It really is that after they added a list that included 20 options, many of which were goofy or not possible based on some generic list implemented by IT, they did some form of hot-fix that removed almost everything.

Call in any real requests. Standard rooms are in Aotearoa, Fiji, Tuvalu, Raratonga, Samoa, Niue.

We made a room request and asked for building X, 1st or 3rd floor, facing the pool.

We were placed in a different building, 2nd floor, facing a walking path.

I wouldn't put too much weight on room requests.

yep, totally get that and understand that it is just that...a request....but it still doesn't hurt to try

We booked through Magic Vacations Travel so we had to go through them for any requests. I actually Emailed Disney and they told me the requests had to be made through my booking agent. We sent the request, but ended up with a second floor room in Aotearoa facing a walking path.

Not to get into details, but a few things happened and we ended up moving to Fiji, 1st floor, Marina view. SWEET ROOM!
