What's the best way to get an ADR at a restaurant that currently shows no availabilty? How likely is it for an opening to become available? Any one have any luck with this?

If the on-line ADR system shows no availability for a restaurant, is it ever possible for availability to become available ON-LINE? Or, is the only way to get an ADR by calling and just being lucky?

Specific example, T-Rex is booked between 4-8pm on June 15 and has been since about 180 days out. If someone cancels will the opening ever actually show up on the on-line ADR system?

TIA

Call T-Rex directly. They are not a Disney restaurant and allow only a small percentage of their tables to be booked through the Disney system. If you call them directly it is likely you will get exactly what you want.

+1 to what TDC Nala said about T-Rex. When I checked online for our trip next week, there was nothing available for any of our dates, ever. When I called, I had my pick of days and times - basically anything I wanted in 15 minute increments. :confused3

As far as other restaurants, I've now seen everything from Citricos, to Narcoossees, Le Cellier, Cali Grill and the like come open for next weekend in the past couple days. Availability comes and goes, but keep checking. If you're flexible with days and times, it seems you can get nearly anything at quieter times of year!

Wow! Your were correct. Called today and got exactly what I wanted: 6:00 PM on 6/15. My boys will be thrilled.
You disers are the best.
