I think it's "revved up like a deuce" which still makes no sense. I used to think (and still do) douche when I hear it.

I thought of another one like that . "Hold on to the night. Hold on to the memories". But the guy pronounces it "mammories".

I guess I've misunderstood those lyrics as well--but googled them and this is what they have it as:

Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,


Not sure what that means--but I'm guessing it is much different than the meaning I thought.

A Deuce is a '32 Ford Coupe. It's the same thing the Beach Boys were talking about in "Little Deuce Coupe".
