? on hanging door signs

Hi, how does everyone hang the signs that are made for the cruise ship doors?

I know that you need to use magnets and not tape. Do you add the peel and stick magnets to the back of the printed paper? Do you add your designs to a protective sleeve and then add the magnet to that?

I thought someone had posted about magnetic paper, but when I looked at Staples I couldn't find anything like that.

I printed mine directly onto magnetic sheets. They are more expensive, but they looked better to me.

Where did you get the magnetic sheets? I asked at Staples and the guy looked at me like I had three heads. I looked around but I didn't see anything. I was looking by where the paper was sold. I did see the iron on transfers in that section.

They actually do have it at Staples. It is in the section with the specialty papers. If you look online and print out a stock number they can find it for you the first time. But they are more expensive; I just use them if I need it quick.

I use www.printonit.com for all my supplies of this type. I am very pleased with them.

I have a print shop program I use, called The PrintShop. Some have more sophisticated programs like PhotoShop. I would love to have that but's it kind of expensive. If you don't have either of those, most computers have Paint. I've read that some people use MS Word or PowerPoint too.
