I am really confused and I hope someone can help me out...I just booked a nights stay at the HRH for Friday, Nov 26th. I wanted to stay onsite because we will only have 2 days at the parks (Friday & Saturday) and I wanted to take advantage of the FOTL priveleges, especially since it is Thanksgiving weekend and I figure the parks will be crowded. But the more I read -- the more confused I am about Express Pass, Express Pass Plus etc. Can someone explain to me what the actual priveleges are that we will have by staying at an onsite hotel...do we need to get an express pass (similar to fast pass) that tells us a time to come back or do we get to walk right into line with our room key...
I am sorry this is so long I just can not figure it out....

You do not need any other express. Your hotel key is your pass that gets you into the express line on pretty much every ride (except a few kiddie ones) for your arrival and departure day.

Just go up to an attraction, show your room key, and go right into the express entrance. No need for any other pass. The expres pass plus and the passes from the machines are for people who are NOT staying on site.

Just remember to ask the atendant for onsite guests access if u do not see an express line as thats what u need to do for shrek

From time to time, particularly during busy periods, your use of the room key Front of the Line privileges at USF and IOA may be limited to one usage per ride per day (when last restricted, the restrictions were lifted after 3 PM). Nothing would keep you from using your park ticket to fetch additional expres passes from the machines.
