It's $193/week for couples and $144/week for singles. That's pre-tax and automatic gratuity. It includes scrubs. When I inquired about a week pass without scrubs (the "standard" price on the Dream), I was told they offered no such option.
Thank you for the info !
Disappointing that they do not offer a no-scrubs length of cruise pass, but good to know.
Using this info, pricing works out to the following:
(tax/gratuity not calculated because as far as I understand it is the same ~18% whether you purchase before or on board - someone please correct me if that is wrong!)
SINGLE PERSON, all 7 days:
day passes (NO scrubs): 7*16 = $ 112
length of cruise (scrubs): $ 144
savings by day pass if you do not want scrubs: $ 32
COUPLE, all 7 days:
day passes (NO scrubs): 7*16*2 = $ 224
length of cruise pass (scrubs): $ 193
*LoC pass with scrubs is $ 32 CHEAPER than 7 one day passes for each person.
COUPLE, hybrid:
If you
didn't want scrubs, and one of the two did not want all 7 days, the break-even point vs just getting the couples LoC pass is:
day passes person 1: 7*16 = 112
difference from couples pass: 193-112 = 81
# day passes in difference: 5.0625 [5*16 = 80]
THEREFORE, if you DO NOT want scrubs, and one person wants the RR every day (7 days), and the other does not, it is cheaper to buy one day passes UPTO the following:
UPTO 12 total one day passes (12 * 16 = 192), which you could break down as:
7 one day passes for person 1 (they get every day)
5 one day passes for person 2
6 one day passes for each person
If you do less than 12 total passes, you save more $.
So if person 1 wants every day and person 2 only wants 1 to 5 days, it is varying degrees of cheaper to get one day passes vs the length of cruise couples pass. HOWEVER, you do NOT get scrubs with the one day passes and that cost is clearly built in to the LoC pricing.
