? on changing Delta reservation

Hoping someone here can help - please?

We currently have RT tickets on delta, cost 227 pp. Non-refundable. Flying BDL>MCO and back again Aug 17-24.

We are considering changing the 1st leg - flying into PBI on the 14th to visit family, renting a car to drive to WDW, and flying home still on the 24th same flight.

I understand they charge a change fee of $50 per ticket but do they cancel the entire rt flight and re-book with the change?(the cost of this is 303.10 plus the change fee)

OR Do they cancel just the one leg? (a one-way flight to pbi is 309 plus the change fee) I'm trying to get a better idea of how much exactly it's going to cost me before I get on the phone to change this. (For some reason I can't edit my itinerary online, I'm prompted to call)

Hi Kristy,

Why not call Delta (800 221 1212) and ask them to price it out for you? They can do it without actually changing the flight information and they'll let you know exactly how much it will cost you.

Last year in fl we called delta to inquire about changing flights. Make sure to tell to do nothing at this time and that you are only asking for informational purposes or something like that but not to make any changes to the reservation.
