On CB board update on Tigger Fan

I don't know how to do a link to another board. But apparently she isn't doing very well and has had another set back with her cancer.

Here is what I posted on the CB, Spinning. Thanks much for your concern and good wishes and prayers.


If we could, please remember to keep Lisa in your good thoughts, and if you say prayer, please remember her there also.

As most know, Lisa has been battling the very tough Inflamatory Breast Cancer for some years now. Just when she seems to have the beast beaten back some, she has her setbacks.

Lisa's doctors found some tumors in her hip some weeks back and now they found lesions in her liver. She is currently getting radiation twice daily and now will be adding some very potent chemo to the mix on a daily basis.

This is just about the toughest strain of breast cancer, if not the toughest, and the type that took the life of our friend Sylvia two years ago. And Lisa knows that.

Lisa just shared with me her current situation and I asked if I might share with all of us here, hers, mine and your family, the DIS.

Please remember Lisa, and all who are fighting the beast.

I had to go back and look at my pm message , to see if it was the same person . Lisa just sent me a nice note and some carousel horse diecuts in the mail this week . I did not realize that she was sick . She will most definetely be in my prayers . The fact that she would take the time to send me a special gift with all that she has going on , testifies to the type of person she is. Lisa , we are thinking of you.

Lisa is a very nice person! Very helpful and amazing. I haven't had a lot of contact with her but she helped me a lot when my friend was diagnosed with Cancer. Gave me a lot of tips on what to do or not do

Hello everyone and thank you so much for the wonderful wishes, prayers, and pixie dust. I am so thankful to have so many great people thinking of me and offering up prayers on my behalf. I also want to thank Dan and Kathi for their support and getting the word out to everyone. Today completed my 5th round of radiation and I'm finally feeling some relief in my hip. I will be starting the new chemo in about a week. The lesion on my liver appears to be very small and hopefully can be knocked out with this new treatment. Emily started school this week and things have been so hectic with me not able to get around. We are really hoping for a better week upcoming. Thank you all again so much for your wonderful wishes. I have to add that my sister bought me a get-well surprise of the new sizzix seasonal die set. All of you scrappers know how great that made me feel !!
