On board gifts

I was looking at on board gifts for in room decoration and there is nothing but a couple super hero blankets or something like that. Anyone know why there isn’t more? I’m hoping maybe disney is coming out with some new stuff

I’m sailing out of PC on the Wish in October and seeing nothing for in room decorations. The last couple weeks all I saw was marvel decorations and nothing else but today even those were gone.

Perhaps they are considering new options for the Wish. I think that the Marvel and Star Wars items were only available on the themed cruises.

Could be. I just looked at my cruise out of Miami in sept 2023 and that one has the welcome aboard and birthday in room decorations. I guess I’ll just keep waiting and watching

When I look (without a specific reservation, just browse by departure port) I see 4 items under "In-Room Decor" for Port Canaveral departures:

• Nautical Character Stateroom Decor
• Birthday Wishes Stateroom Decor
• Marvel Super Heros at Sea Pillow and Blanket Set
• Star Wars at Sea Pillow and Blanket Set

I do not see the typical "Welcome Aboard" available at any port but in looking at the Nautical Character decor that appears to be it.

Yep that’s what I see without putting reservation in but once I do it by reservation then it is just the marvel super hero’s pillow/blanket and the Star Wars pillow/blanket. I was thinking of doing some in room decorations for my daughter’s first cruise but as of now, I can’t. The cruise isn’t till end of October so things may change by then

That’s so strange because just last week when I was looking there was a birthday in room decor for our Disney wish Merrytime cruise and now it’s not there. Hopefully it’ll get added back.

I was wondering if they had already intended to roll out new products but the pandemic set that back. So, just like they are still doing the same backpacks for silver and gold guests, they are not quite up to speed on new room decor.

I was surprised to hear that you could order the MDAS and SWDAS items despite not being on a themed cruise. I assume DCL had leftovers and sent the MDAS stuff from Miami to PC.

For my cruise which sails May 21 I remember seeing 4 options for room decorations. When I look now I see the "Nautical" decorations and the "Birthday" decorations only.

Does DCL ever do holiday specific decoration? Like at Halloween, do they ever off in room decor that is Halloween themed?

Yes--they've had both Halloween and Christmas. I bought both in 2019 for a Halloween on the high seas and Merrytime Christmas cruise. They both had a sherpa blanket with top side printed with the holiday theme. Also several ceiling hanging decorations for each, a cinch bag to store it all in, and a couple of holiday magnets. These themed cruises also typically have the themed popcorn buckets for purchase too.

When I try to order on board gifts it says my reservation is not found, even though I signed in and selected my reservation. When I try to select on board activities it says 0 were found. There is definitely a problem somewhere in there system.

Ooh thanks for the info! This makes me very excited! I hope it’s the same this year cause our cruise is October 31 and my 2 year old (3 yr old for cruise) loves Halloween and it’s her first cruise! So I’d love a Halloween cruise blanket to remember the trip and to have room all decked out with decoration!

I just looked for Wish Dec 12-16 and still don’t see the bday package

I just saw a post on Facebook but they must have sold out or something cause they don’t show on my on board gifts. Hopefully they come back cause they looked super nice
