On a search for a healthier me.

haha yeah, I used to have one in middle school, like it wasn't ripped visible, but you could feel it. Basically I want my tummy to be tight again haha.

So this morning i went on facebook and got an app request so i added it and turns out one of my friends thinks i'm overweight. That ticks me off so bad. I'm technically only 1 point above normal BMI so yeah i am overweight by that means but really I don't look fat at all...I'm an 8 for crying out loud. How do i look overweight. My bones are sticking out on my hips and rips I have hardly any fat...I'm just sooooo upset now and i don't even want to eat until that 4lbs is gone...

I have 5 lb weights that I lift with my forearms when I'm walking.

I don't know if I will ever get it back, my body has changed a lot since then :rotfl:


& Push ups are LAME. hehe.

So I started bringing my dinner to work. I feel like such a nerd. Its so much better for me though, and it gives me more energy. I wish I could start getting more sleep though. I work till 11 most nights(this is my only night off) and then wake up at 6. By the time I shower/do laundry I am getting 4-5 hours of sleep a night. It sucks so bad. Oh and it leaves no time to exersise :sad2:

Ew, I hate bananas. Like...they make me gag.
Oh, my favorite is definately strawberries, they're so good. Watermelon is alright, but I haven't heard of lychee, durian, or sapodilla.

I like the dried raspberries and blueberries in my cereal, but I haven't tried them seperate. I love cheerios. Raisins...are kinda gross.

My disney pictures are what keeps me working. I want to look awesome standing in front of the castle when I go, but I think I'll have a hard time with eating healty.

I'm trying to get rid of the fat on my stomach and under arms. What's the best exercise for under arms?
I do jacknives for my stomach but hopefully I can get some pilates videos and work on that.


what are jacknives?
i want to work on my stomach and im sick of sit ups.
any suggestions?
 
ive been doing 20 lunges, 20 squats, and 15 "chairsits" (idk what there called)
a day and i think its actually working!

I really really want pilates, but I'm broke.
So I just hope I get some videos for Christmas.

I had a dream last night that I was jogging around town, and I ran like...miles and then when I got home I was so exctied I did it. And I didn't feel tired at all.
Then I woke up and was like "Well heck" because I realized I really couldn't do that...yet. Lol.
 
I've found pilates videos 3 for 1 dollar before.
You just have to look other places than online and in big stores.
 
I'll have to go search the flea market and see if they have anything.

I'm starting a pre-NY resolution xD
And it's to get healthy, and get fit.
So I'm going to get a good week head start on New Years =)

I really just need to watch what I eat (so I got a TheDailyPlate account), Wii Fit, and run. And we'll see from there.

I need to think of new NY resolutions.

I'm totally lacking in the ab exercise department.
I just won't do anything for them.
It's like the worst part of my body and so out of shape.
Terrible.
I hate it.
But I hate ab exercises the most because they get so sore.
Starting tomorrow, I will!
 
today I ran/walked 2 miles.

That's a good start for me.
 
I like most fruits and veggies and grilled chicken breast.
I like skim milk too.
Another healthy food is nonfat greek yogurt. I has a lot more protein than regular yogurt. If you get it though mix fruit, oats, or something with it. Otherwise the yogurt taste like sour cream lol.

Greek yogurt is really good with honey.

I'm not a big healthy eater.
I love corn, beans, peas, baked potatos, rice, eggs, cheerios.
Ha, that's about it.

I'm starting to get more serious about a healthier lifestyle and exercising to lose weight.
I'm trying to cut out soda from my diet. I'm going to try to end it entirely by Friday. I'm keeping a water and orange juice diet. No more soda.

I've been walking around my block this past week, and I'm increasing the number of times I go around. Yesterday I walked around 7 times, and ran 2 times. I'm going to work out with my best friend over winter break. :)

Cutting out soda gets easier. I just did it because I figured water was healthier. Now, I drink an occasional sip because I honestly don't like it as much as I remember.
