I hope someone knows this!! If I book a package and the kids need water park extra, but we don't, can we get the kids' tickets different than ours on the same pakage? or can we add on the water park option only to the kids tix once we get there? If we do it that way, does it cost more?

Thanks so much!!! :goodvibes

You have to book all the tickets the same. But I am thinking that you could go to Guest Services when you get there and upgrade the kids tickets with the plus options. I don't think that cost more than doing it before you go.

Hopefully someone can give you a more definite answer--I guess this didn't help much. :sad2:

All Guest tickets for a package must be the same. If you do not get WPF&M it can be added to the original tickets.

However, since a child is considered age 3-9, and you say the adults don't need the upgrade, my question is do you expect to send the children to a water park unaccompanied?

1) The package must be the same for all people.
2) So, add the kids options at the Concierge desk in the resort.

my husband and I have options left over from a non expiring ticket we used on our last trip--I'm assuming and hoping those options don't expire even if all the days are used up? in which case, we wouldn't need the add on

and no, I wouldn't send my 5 and 7 year old to the water parks alone.

I'm sorry I worded the comment that way, but I have seen some people do very stange things down here that they would not do anywhere else.

As long as the tickets were either pre-MYW or have the NE option any unused minor park entries should still be valid.

no problem...

just so I understand, though---so, we bought MYW 8 day non expiring tix which gave us 6 "options"...we have only used one of the options...so, are they five remaining separate and apart from the park admission days, and also considered non-expiring? Thanks for helping me understand

That is correct. I have people come all the time to check tickets and I can see that the major park days were all used but that there are still WPF&M entries remaining and I can tell them exactly how many entries remaing.

Effectively when you buy a ticket with WPF&M you are actually buying two separate tickets that are linked together. You get the base (and maybe hopper) which is valid only for the four major theme parks for a certain number of days and you get the WPF&M which is valid only for the five minor parks with a certain number of entries. If you buy the NE option it apples to both parts.

(Note that if you go to BB in the morning, TL in the afternon, and DQ at night you will have used three entries but no days from the major parks.)
