The GOOD news -- I recieved today my pin set that was not available for pick up at the AK pin event! :teeth: Great looking pin set too. :hyper:

Now --- Just over two months ago -- like many of us -- I ordered the PotC DVD from Costco, in order to get the free HM pin.
mmm yeah, right.
Right away I received the DVD. It was not sealed (no plastic or protective wrap). The DVD was not even snapped into place inside the DVD holder. :p
I called Costco right away and told them. Very nice customer service gal didn't explain or apologize for the poor packaging. All she said was I would receive my Disney pin "next week."
Well, several e-mails complaining about the DVD and no pin later, the response is always
Disney is still in the process of getting these mailed out you should receive your in the next few days.
Of course in this instance they didn't say My What. Just "Your".
Well, I have been hearing this for almost two months.
I AGAIN wrote and getting the same crap. So I finally replied if they (Costco) cannot provide the item as advertised, I need to return it for a full refund -- including the expense of return postage.
The response -- Is the DVD opened? Then we will not accept it.
 :faint:
Considering it was never sealed  yes, that means it is open.
(Blaine played the DVD partically once just to make sure it was not someone else's reject/return.)
That was it. I replied at this point I would be contacting the BBB and FL Attorney General's Office, that I had rehashed all this with them numerous times to no avail. It all boils down to they cannot produce what they advertised. (I would have bought the DVD, but at Walmart where it was cheaper -- and SEALED in new condition.)

Well, a refund is being processed., so they say. I won't hold my breath. Maybe
you should receive your in the next few days.
;)

Next --
I joined the Disney Movie Club over a year ago. Fulfilled my contract. Right away (at least two months ago) I got an e-mail stating CONGRATS -- We are sending you a pin in a box. (VIP status)
Well, guess what other pin I never received?
I e-mailed them today and told 'em I will buy DVDs again when they send the flippin' pin they promised. (Not in those words -- but might as well have. ;) )

Okay -- griping over. Thanks for letting me vent! :wave2:
