I think I may have posted this in the wrong section first, so I'm trying this again:

Through my own poor planning, and dose of Murphy's law, the two mornings I have early ADRs booked at MK (8:10 and 8:05), are **both** morning EMH.

We're pros at the early ADRs, but we've never run into them coinciding with morning EMH (I'm off my game this trip!!).

Can anyone give me a rundown on how that works logistically?

If all else fails, we might just stay for rope drop on the 8:10 ressie (at CRT) - we've not done that before, since we're usually already in the park.

TIA!

I don't really understand your question. For you, it would be the same as other times you've done it in the past, except that the park would be open to all (EMH people) so you will be an hour or so behind in touring when you finish breakfast. Basically, you're missing the EMH benefit for that hour.

You *might* be let into the park a few minutes before 8, but I'm not sure if they will for an 8:10 ADR or not. The dining line tells you to show up 10-15 minutes early, so maybe based on that you can get in around 7:45.

That's the $10,000 question here, I guess. Do they let you in before 8 or no? Is there a separate line still, or no? (During non-morning EMH days, there is a separate line for early ADRs).

Just trying to think out the logistics - because if there isn't a separate line, then it's worth it to us to get their early enough to be near the front for rope drop. If there *is* a separate line, then it's not an issue, and we won't feel compelled to get there quite as early.

I'd try and get early ADR's for a different day. Or book a later time that morning for breakfast.

The whole point of being at MK for an EMH in the am is to go on the rides before the park opens for everyone.

squirrel - I appreciate the opinion on rearranging. Ideally, we'd love to, but as a party of 9, CRT rearranging simply isn't possible. We've cancelled CP, but CRT is a must keep.

Does anyone have any experience with the logistics of this? Separate lines? Pre-8 am entry? If that's not an option, we need to plan to be there early enough to be near the very front of rope drop.

TIA for any experiences shared!

I agree wholeheartedly with this. Parks tend to be a bit busier on EMH mornings anyway. You will get in before 8 am if your ressies are for 8.05/8.10 but you can't do anything constructive with that time anyway. Unless you are staying offsite, in which case it matters a little less, but still, I would go with the above suggestion.

Maybe I'm just being dense (always possible) but what exactly are you really trying to figure out?

I mean, why do you have to be "early enough to be near the very front of rope drop" if you find out they don't let you in the park early? If they don't let you in early, you will just be walking up the street with everyone else, I don't see the difference between whether you are at the front of the pack, middle of the pack, or back. Once everyone clears the train tunnel, you're all on the street together anyway and everyone starts heading their own directions. It's not a mob scene like the mass of people that go to Toy Story Mania at rope drop or anything.

I would just plan on arriving at the park by 7:30 and you will be fine in either case.

The other point of getting the early park breakfast is for photos without many people on Main Street.

I don't know the answer if they let you in earlier. I would plan on being at MK park entrance already through security by 7:45am at the latest. That is when they let us inside the MK for early breakfast when the park opened at 9am.
