Omni Championsgate to Disney

How is the drive from the Championsgate to Disney parks/resorts/DTD? How long is the drive and is the traffic heavy?

We will be here for a conference for 2 nights and then have 2 more nights to spend in Orlando. It would be more convenient to not move hotels with our toddler in tow, but a DTD area hotel like B Resort is half the rate and may be more convenient for proximity to Disney . Wondering what the "commute" is like so I can decide.

Its a pretty short drive from the Omni to WDW. Unfortunately much of it is on I-4 which is subject to backups at any time. Still, the Omni is a very nice hotel...
